I'm so happy with these rockers (purchased 4 for porch). They are easy to assemble - my husband and I used a drill. The color is a nice bright white, which looks great. The quality is very good; especially at a $99 price point. Additionally my husband is very satisfied with the purchase.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Drt Chairs did not last 1 yr
I purchased 8 of these chairs less than 1 year ago. ALL of them have something wrong. Some as major as the wooden rocker splitting, back slats splitting, and others have paint cracking off and spindles splintering.
I threw 4 away and used the parts of the 4 thrown away to salvage (barely) the four I kept. The chairs were placed on a covered deck at my home. I have purchased similar chairs from Home Depot competitors and did not have this problem. I strongly urge anyone not to buy. Waste of money. They looked great when purchased but the problems began several months after purchase.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DIY Paint chips off in about 10 months on a covered porch where no sun or rain hits chairs.
Would not recommend purchasing, based on the way the paint is chipping off, it was not painted with primer more than likely. I suggest buying unfinished chairs and taking the time to paint and prime your self so you know it was done correctly.

The rockers were easy to put together, but I did use a bar clamp before screwing it together.
I also paint mine before putting together and I do have to say they came out great. Paint the white chair with LSU colors and the black chair with Saints colors

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by jdm123 Rocking chair has the exact features that I wanted and good seat height.
I gave it a fair rating for quality because both chairs arrived with a nickel sized dent on the left slat in the same place on both chairs. The paint was also chipped on both of those places. Paint is starting to chip off arms. These rockers sit on a covered porch. This is not the quality I expected especially after owning them for 4 weeks.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LED1 These look great on the front porch of a home.
I purchased two of these rockers for the front porch of my home. The assembly instructions are clear but I did have some trouble putting them together. If you are not a handy person then you will have some trouble. The chair back and all of the spindles had a build up of excess paint which made it impossible to insert them into their respective holes. After removing the excess paint the assemby went pretty smoothly until the final step where you install the seat screws. The seat screws don't even come close to aligning with the predrilled holes in the seat. I had to drill my own holes to complete the seat attachment. Assembly of the first chair took me about 2 hours. The assembly of the second chair took me about 1 hour.
TIP # 1 - Sanding the excess paint from the spindles by hand takes too long. I just carefully used the wire brush wheel on my bench grinder.... quick and easy!
TIP # 2 - I applied self-adhesive felt strips (1/2" x 34") to the underside of the runners to protect the painted floor of my front porch.... see photo.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Katkit Great value
After some reservation when reading the reviews on this chair I decided to order because I've been wanting rocking chairs for my front porch for quite some time and they would make a great Christmas present to myself. I was not disappointed they came out really nice and wasn't that difficult to put together much easier than I'd thought after reading some of the reviews. I assembled them both myself and I'm 5'2 female almost 60 yrs old... Get it you will not regret.
