Can I use this to add a refrigerator water line from a supply that utilizes a braided line?

Asked by: jason
Hello jtag51, Yes. The tee will mount onto you cold water shutoff valve. The top port is connected to the faucet water line while the 1/4" side port is connected to the icemaker supply line. I hope this helps. Cheers, Chris

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 1/4" Compression Does NOT Seal I have tried to use this to tap off the cold water kitchen sink and run a line to my refrigerator. It installs great, but it leaks! I have tried two separate of these fittings and two separate compression fittings to to PE line to go the the refrigerator. Both times these 1/4" connections have leaked. I will return all of the pieces and am on my way to go get real ones a plumbing supply house.
