Koehler makes a quality product. The fit and finish are just what I expected.

Installed this in my new shower. Love the look but wish the drain holes were smaller . I use a mesh drain cover over it to catch any hair.

This is a heavy duty solid brass shower drain. It is much better than the ones stocked in the store.

This is a high quality piece. Well built and rugged. Do not buy a cheap plastic one instead, you will regret it. It is well worth the money. One of the reviews written, the person said it requires caulking and therefore it is no good. That is not the case. If you read the directions it says you can caulk it if desired, but it is not required. It comes with a heavy duty gasket that works fine, even better, without caulking. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone. It is the best I have seen!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 4Dummies Cheaply made, poor design, poor quality. I returned it.
This drain is a "caulk drain" and does not match the quality of the Kohler Salient Shower Receptor for which it is recommended. Drains that require internal caulking, no matter how well installed, inevitably leak . Instead I am using a very sturdy brass shower drain with a brass compression coupling for durability and no leakage. Also, the chrome grid overlay is much nicer. Kohler once again disappoints with its valves & drains.
