Product Overview

BrassCraft 1/2 in. FIP Inlet x 3/8 in. O.D. Compression Outlet 1/4-Turn Straight Valve controls water flow to household plumbing fixtures - faucets, toilets, dishwashers, icemakers, washing machines, etc. The straight valve is most often used where the water pipe enters the room from the floor. With a 90° turn of the valve handle, you are able to stop the flow of water leading to the plumbing fixture, allowing for maintenance and repair without shutting off the water to the entire home.

  • Compatible with iron pipe
  • Smooth on/off flow control with a quarter turn (90°) turn of the handle
  • 1-piece shut-off mechanism ensures smooth operation without freeze-ups even after long periods without use
  • Easy-to-remove handle protects against accidental operation during rough-ins
  • 1-piece body construction for strength, durability and long-lasting performance
  • Chrome-plated brass
  • Temperature rating: 40° to 140°F
  • Pressure rating: 125 psi maximum
  • No-lead certified
  • IAPMO and CSA listed to ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cracked. Kitchen flood in 2 separate units after only 7 years. I installed two of these 7 years ago. They install nice, and have a nice functional design...hence why I used them in the first place. 1 year ago 1 valve cracked and slowly flooded a part of my kitchen while on vacation. 3 days ago the second of the original two did exactly same thing...cracked in exactly the same spot...and created a nice sized puddle. In my opinion....design flaw. I've never ever had a valve do that before....twice! November 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Leaks heavily in closed position I had the same experience as Bob - when the valve is turned off, a flow - not a drip - of water still comes through. There is a notch in the plastic valve that allows water past. January 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is better then the cheaper items ball shut off vs washer is the only way to go. Should have installed these when we built the house February 8, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't work A valve is supposed to turn off the water. This valve just cuts down the flow to a trickle. It's not on and off, its regular flow and a trickle of water. Don't waste your money, buy another brand, you will be glad you did. October 31, 2013
