Customer Questions & Answers

How is this valve installed? I've been told that the supply must been all the way in extension! Special soldering procedures1

Asked by: T9461
Thank you for your question, T9461. The BrassCraft Multi-Turn Valve with Extension Tube is intended to be installed over a copper water supply pipe. The inside of the chromed tube will be soldered to the outside of the copper piping. The copper supply tube does not need to be inserted all the way to the supply stop. The installation requires that at least 1 In. of copper tubing be inserted into the chromed tube for adequate support and attachment.
