Product Overview

BrassCraft 1/2 in. Nominal Compression Inlet x 1/4 in. O.D. Compression Outlet Multi-Turn Angle Valve controls water flow to household plumbing fixtures - faucets, toilets, dishwashers, icemakers, washing machines, etc. The angle valve is most often used where the water pipe enters the room from the floor. With a few turns of the valve handle, you are able to stop the flow of water leading to the plumbing fixture, allowing for maintenance and repair without turning off water to the entire home.

  • Compatible with copper or PEX (PEX installations require a stainless steel tube insert)
  • Machined, 1-piece body construction for strength, durability and long-lasting performance
  • Easy-to-remove handle protects against accidental operation during rough-ins
  • Multi-turn operation means water flow control with only a few turns of the handle
  • Oval-knurled handle provides a secure grip for on/off operation
  • Chrome-plated brass
  • Temperature rating: 40° to 140°F
  • Pressure rating: 125 psi maximum
  • No-lead certified
  • IAPMO and CSA listed to ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1

my old turn angle valve broke off. can i replace just the turn valve without replacing everything? its hooked up to my humidifier to the furnace and there is not water turn off valve. i'd like to just replace turn valve instead of turning off all the water to the whole house but am afraid to take apart not knowing if water will start shooting out.

Generally speaking, if the valve is a BrassCraft multi-turn valve (requires 2 to 3 full turns to open or close valve) that has an oval handle and a screw-type stem, then the internal components could be replaced without replacing the entire valve. However, the water supply to the valve would still need to be turned off up-stream. Read Less

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Won't Crimp Tight On Copper Tubing!!! I have been buying these valves for a number of years and it seems that the quality of the compression fittings have gone way down. I bought a number of these in different outlet sizes for a home I was working on. I could not get the brass crimp ring inside these to crimp down solid on the tube so it would stop leaking. Some leaked just a bit others dripped. I don't know of they have changed the brass ring or the angle of the inside of the fitting so it can't force a proper crimp on the brass ring. The only way to make these work was to disassemble the valve and sweat the fitting onto the copper tubing then reassemble the valve. I would have taken these back but its a 200 mile round trip and I needed to get the water on in this house. May 21, 2013
