I purchased 26 of these supply lines in various lengths at Home Depot when we built our new house, thinking they were a premium product. I had 3 of them leak within 24 hours of installing, and took them back for replacements. I had another one leak after 3 months in an upstairs bathroom which we discovered when the laundry room ceiling started dripping. I replaced that one. We agonized over whether to change out the whole house, but after checking 26 of them regularly for a couple months and having no further leaks, decided it was just a few bad apples. Now, a year after the initial installation, we discovered water damage on our dining room ceiling from another upstairs sink, and when checking the whole house again, I found 4 more with slow drips. All 8 leakers failed at the crimp joint between the braided steel hose and upper fitting. At this point, I'm changing out the whole house to the simple grey plastic supply lines. So much for a premium product!

I purchased 6 of these, 5 of them leaked out of the crimp at the 1/2" end. The one that didn't leak....oops...I accidentally bought one that was a Proline. It was mixed in the same box as the Brasscraft. Typical HD in Hollywood, Florida. In any case, returning the 5 and hoping they have the Proline. If not, will roll the dice again considering the majority of reviews are positive.

We bought 4 supply lines and appeared good when we installed. Came back next day and one did not seal even though it was seated correctly and we had a flood.

These are great for connecting faucets to Sharkbite valves. They tighten easy and stay secure. never any leaks. I would recommend to anyone needing this type of connector. Solid!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by littlemike Makes faucet installation easy
I went and bought a new kitchen faucet to replace the cheapo that came with the house. Of course, the nasty old faucet used those nasty old rigid supply lines, which were too short anyway and had the wrong ends for the new faucet so wouldn't have fit anyway. So I rushed over to Homey D's and got me a pair of these shiny new pipes. What a breeze to install! Great for tight spaces like under this sink, and flexible so if one is too long (and when are the tubes ever of equal length on these installs?) it will just slink into the space allotted. And these will never corrode.
