Rated 5 out of 5 by It got the job done. It got the job done where the plunger did not.Every home should have one. April 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by It works I had a full, clogged toilet for 2 days. The water would not go down. I tried all the methods I could find online that had worked before, and nothing helped. This auger worked, BUT I had to watch a video on Youtube to understand how to operate it. The instructions on the product are not clear whatsoever. My first attempt with the auger was via those instructions, and it didn't work. Once I followed the video, I had a clear toilet within minutes, and out came a ball of makeup remover wipes/baby wipes/and who knows what else, attached to the spiral of the auger. I'm a new homeowner, which means I have very little extra cash! A call to a plumber was the last thing I wanted to do. I am trying to learn as much as I can to do things myself, and I have to admit, I felt a bit triumphant when all the water receded. January 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked great, and easier than I thought I tried everything to unclog my toilet. New plunger, dish soap, hot water, then I went to the chemicals. Liquid drain opener, crystals, pure lye, $40. worth and nothing was moving. I'm a retired female and wasn't sure I could do the auger, but it turned out to be fairly easy and got through that clog, which appeared to be mainly hard water deposits that had built up in the trapway. The tool itself seems very sturdy, as I used it forcefully to bore my way through. After a rinse and air dry I sprayed a little WD40 on it and it's good to go for next time. Best $9.00 I ever spent. Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap but got the job done My 3 year old decided to throw his 'pull-up' in the toliet and flush it before I could stop him. Of course, the toliet needed to be unclogged. Tried a plunger but didn't help. I was debating whether I should buy this one or the more expensive version. I decide to take a chance and bought this one, less than 10 bucks. Worked like a charm!!! Quick and easy, and of course cheap. So glad I didn't pay for the $40 one when this little $10 one worked just fine. :) January 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Got the job done Took me a couple of minutes to get the hang of how to use it. You've really got to keep turning the handle constantly and apply very gentle pressure, just like the instructions tell you! Once I got it going it worked quickly and easily to remove the blockage.
