We now have several sizes to help with the maintenance of our stations. They do work great. This is not a negative mark but just a reality: The rubber does eventually degrade over the years so if you detect a problem you are better to buy a new one than have it rupture in your drain line.

I had a problem with a clogged sewer line. The local plumbing outfit wanted 275.00 to run their machine through the 30ft line. My Dad was a plumber. He had me running tools for him as soon as I was big enough to carry a tool box. Cleaning drains/sewers was one of the first things I learned how to do. The ones like this that Dad had were made of brass and canvas. I thought I would give this a try before I rented a machine from Home Depot. For 20.00 why not? Well it worked! Thanks Dad!

Used this type of drain cleaner before. The new replaces an old one that exploded.

This is the first review I have ever made, but I felt that I needed to share. I had a clog between my house and street clean outs. I was getting no where with a 1/4" x 25' handheld auger after spending all morning working at the clog. I would just get bits and pieces. After purchasing this, the clog was gone in five minutes and I saw the clog rush past the street clean out. Problem solved! I used the large on a 4" pvc.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve I had one explode on me, but 2nd try was a success!
Used in 4" pipe, I think my problem the first time was that the tip of the bladder where the opening is was up against a turn in the pipe, which blocked the opening, and covered it even tighter as the bladder expanded, and bam, it popped. Fortunately, even thought it had a big hole, it stayed intact and I was able to get it out easily enough. Second time, I made sure I didn't bottom out the bladder against the pipe and it worked perfectly, at least it seems that way so far. Good luck, hope this helps!

I had a clogged main about 10ft past the clean out. I tried 2 different snakes (gross) and 2 gallons of main pipe cleaner (lye). Still didn't unclog. My Grandpa had one of these and brought it over. I pushed it in until it stopped and turned on the water very slowly. I put the water to full blast and saw the water rise in the basement drain which I plugged quickly. After 30 seconds I pulled the plug off and it was clear! We ran it for a few minutes the did volume tests. Clog gone!!!! Go buy this immediately!!! Saved me hundreds and if I had used it right away would have saved us over a day of using no water.
