CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.1 out of 5 by 120 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Child Proof Gas Can After fussing with the new child proof gas can a couple of times, I've conquered the concept and there seems to be a method in the madness. The collar of the spout is held in place with a circle of notches/teeth that need to be tightened thoroughly to prevent gas from leaking around the neck of the can. I used a plastic gripper like the ones used for opening jars in the kitchen to tighten the last few notches on the spout to completely seal the gas can. April 15, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible I watched the video B&S posted on You Tube before I even bought this, and the thing still leaks horribly. The fact that you really have to push it into the opening for the gas to flow makes it difficult to see how much is in the tank. I have another gas can (or should we call them plastic jugs these days) that's larger and a few years old, and it just had a cap on the end that locks with a tab. I switched out the collars on these two so that I could use the old nozzle on the new jug. That's how bad it is! And be warned, if you take this new nozzle off to fill up or something, it holds a lot of gas inside and leaks all over the place when you lay it down. April 25, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by I do NOT recommend this product. How can you mess up something as simple as a gas can? September 13, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by CARB approved spouts have ruined a simple gas can. It holds gas just like any other can...but the lawmakers always ruin simple things. You make the nozzle comply to Federal regulations and now you need a degree in rocket science to figure out how the nozzle works. I work on complex equipment every day but this nozzle got the best of me for about 15 minutes. We need the old school nozzles back. Keep it simple, please! March 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible Product!!! Broke nozzle trying to use it for the first time. Ended up using a funnel to fill weed eater. Don't buy this flimsy can. April 20, 2014
