Product Overview

Valves control the flow of fuel vapor into the combustion chamber and the flow of exhaust gases leaving the engine. Faulty or dirty valves may stick and can develop pits, cracks or grooves that cause the engine to lose power and fuel efficiency. When you remove the valves from the engine, inspect them carefully. Then, if the valves are not badly worn and the parts are not damaged, you can tune up the valves and seats so that the valves seal effectively.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Met expectations. It met my expectations and installed just fine on my generac generator. I would suggest replacing the fuel line while you're there too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NO PART, NO WORKING GENERATOR It is amazing to me that they would build any generator using such a skimpy part for such an important aspect of the generator. This is the part that connects the gas flow from the fuel tank to the fuel tube that delivers the gas to run the unit. My generator was only two years old when the rubber part that fits into the gas tank rotted and started leaking like a sieve. So, bottom line, if you don't have a replacement part like this one on hand, you can forget about having any backup protection during a power outage. You would think the Husky Co. would have put a little more time into designing a part as important as this one is to be of higher quality. So, the part works, but the design of the generator itself needs a lot of improvement.
