Replacement Fuel Pump

$2320 /each

Product Overview

A fuel pump is used when the fuel tank is mounted lower than the carburetor and cannot rely on gravity to carry fuel through the fuel line. Briggs & Stratton fuel pumps have either a plastic or a metal body and develop pressure using the vacuum in the crankcase, which is created by the motion of the piston. A fitting on the crankcase cover or the dipstick tube draws the pressure to pump fuel.

will this fuel pump replace one on 19.5 hp briggs & straton motor on my riding mower
Asked by: tim
This fuel pump may be compatible. To find a compatible pump, you will first need the engines model, type, and trim. To assist you in finding that information, you will need to navigate to (www.briggsandstratton.com) and once you are there, there will be a support tab located at the top of the page, if you click this, and it will drop down into more options, on the left there will be an option to download manuals, you can then find information on where the numbers will be located on your unit. Once you have found those numbers, you can enter them in the website for a downloadable parts manual and operators manual, the parts manual will provide you with a part number for a compatible fuel pump.
