Needed to replace my existing grill. Owned the 4 burner version of this grill for 8 years. Waited for this version to go on sale. Unpacked and assembled in 20 minutes. All you need is 1 screwdriver and 1 cold beer. Going to break it in this weekend. Excellent grill for the price of $199.00.

I purchased the 5-Burner Grill a month or so ago. I have to say that I've been extremely pleased with my purchase. The grill cooks evenly and the temperature is easy to control. There is ample cooking area to prepare a meal for a large family or entertaining friends. I ordered on-line and picked up the product at the Home Depot pre-assembled, which was the best option. The far right burner sometimes is difficult to ignite, but usually does after two or three times using the integrated ignition. I have prepared many meals using the Brinkman Grill and have been very happy with the results each time. I would highly recommend anyone reading this review to purchase one today!

The grill over all is very nice! Only problem we had putting it together was the one plastic foot didn't want to go on, it ended up cracking! The store thankfully replaced it off a model one & that one went on better. Also attaching the wire piece to the side burner, the part that sends the spark, as soon as I pushed the wire up the plastic part cracked on it a bit. But thankfully it stayed on and the side burner still works. We have grilled country style ribs, chicken, fish and even vegetables and it works great. It's does take 2 or 3 clicks to get burners on but then they stay on and we have grilled in some windy weather and non windy weather! So over all it was a great decision to buy.

I bought this grill as a gift for my best friend. He has really enjoyed it and I found that the quality of the grates are that of the more expensive grills. Seems like a great value.

This is my 2nd brinkman grill. My first one lasted 2 years. The back gas channels broke off and the igniter stopped working. My second one lasted 1 year. Again the back gas channels broke off and this time 3 of the 4 gas tubes snapped in half. Unbelievable. Poor Quality.

Assembly was not as quick as some other reviewers - took me about three hours. One of the retaining screws that holds the grill to the frame was stripped and I had to drill it out and replace it with my own screw. I believe the rubber supply hose from the grill to the propane tank is too short and put a lot of strain on the bend leading from the grill. I solved this by putting a gas gauge ($12.97 from HD) on the propane tank. This decreased the hose travel by about four inches and relieved some of the strain in the bend on the rubber supply hose (better than returning the grill, too difficult to transport). Everything came out fine the first time we grilled (steak, salmon, corn, potatoes and onions). The burners lit easily and stayed lit in a moderate wind. Overall, I am satisfied with the grill and believe it is a good product for the price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sinikhill Great BBQ!!
I purchased this BBQ a couple of weeks ago and it's a little champ! It's not a webber quality BBQ so those who are complaining that the thing falls apart after a couple of years are obviously expecting to get a Bentley for the price of a Kia.
It's got good quality grill plates, burns hot as you could ever want, and cooks great. I got a 60" brinkman premium cover for it and keep it covered which should help prolong the life of it and clean it after each use. Basic stuff to keep it running right.
Plus, it's got a bottle opener on it!! What else do you really want for 200 bucks!?
If you're looking for good value for money for a grill that will last you a couple of years, this bad boy is the one!

Bought a Brinkman 5-burner grill at home depot last year for $200 after it received some solid ratings in consumer reports. Had a great grilling season last year with no complaints...really like the additional side burner for pan cooking onions, peppers, etc...Porcelain coated grates are really easy to clean too (make sure you use a brush that doesn't strip porcelain when cleaning).
Got a generic $20 cover for the grill and stored it in a garage after each use and over the winter.
Started it up for the first time 2 weeks ago after a long winter layoff and it fired up no problem. Everything still working perfect.
If you put in the time to maintain the grill and use a little wd40 on the inner-workings and olive oil to coat the grates before you put it away for the winter it will last a long time. If you don't take care of the grill (whether its a Weber or a Brinkman) it won't last.
