Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Texas These lights are AWESOME.. except
We bought 2 complete units. The lights are outstanding, very bright, very attractive, SOOO easy to install.. The only con is that the transformer is functionally flawed. Its a 3x2 box with the electric prongs centered. (Remember I said I bought 2). There is no easy, attractive way to plug both large transformers into the GFCI outlet. Because of voltage, it requires a heavy duty outdoor extension cord for each unit. I finally have it 'cleaned up' but it looked like an electricians nightmare for a few days until I figured out how to "hide it" . If you're just buying one --- GO FOR IT. If you'll need two, consider your plug in resources first.

These lights are not the highest quality, but for the price you can't beat them. LIght output is fantastic, very nice clean white, not blue. They are very easy to install, but you do need to make sure you are not needing them to be more than 10ft apart. The power supply is very large, and does not fit in most exterior boxes, so keep that in mind. You will have a hard time finding a better light set for the price. We love the look at night, and they match our LED exterior garage lights beautifully.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fixit2day We love our lights
At first the lights are very bright but the extreme brightness will dim slightly after a month or two. We have had 9 sets of them all the way around our house for about 7 months and had no problems. I did have to modify 2 lights to make the wires longer to reach a flower bed in the middle of the front yard. Over time the spotlights will need a very small short screw between the pivot point to lock it in place because The pivot point will lose its tightness and gravity and rain will push it down. Brinkmann has discontinued the spotlight set of 6, which is why I am buying these so I have backup lights if there is a problem or if I want to add more

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by gelman Spots are nice
The spot lights in this set work well and are very bright. The path lights are ok, but send too much light upwards making it hard to see the ground. I have other outdoor lights that you can't directly see the light source because they are shaded well, casting a majority of their light on the ground. I won't be buying more path lights, but I will buy more spots.
Also, these lights cannot be spaced more than 10 feet apart. They are pre-wired (i.e. they don't use the crimp-on connectors to attach to the power cable), but have two 5-foot cables on each lamp with a socket on one and a plug on the other for daisy-chaining them together. This is ok if you want all your lights in one area, but if you want two or more groups with more than 10 feet between them, you will need to buy addition sets.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Great lights for a great price and easy installation
I bought three sets at the low sale price to get 10 of the coach globe lights for my long walkway. That way I have several spare coach globe lights and transformers. All arrived in good shape with no damage. The free shipping was a bonus. The screw together Installation was easy and the wiring was heavy duty and well insulated, better than any ground lights I ever had before. Only problem was the overly large transformer plug which would not plug into my outdoor recepticle. I remedied this problem with a a very short extension cord for plugging it in. All the lights and electric eye worked the first tme without any adjustments. The light is a bright white and is much more powerfull than solar lights. I have already had several comments from neighbors as to how nice the lights look. I am very satisfied and would recommend this product especially at this price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Uncle Good purchase if your not in a hurry, these are not carried in the store.
The led lights are bright and just the ones I was looking for. The transformer is too big for most
outside weather boxes and should be addressed by developers. If they used them then they would make the necessary changes.

This is a very nice light set. Comes with the transformer, wires (connectors included), two spot lights and four walkway lights. All the lights are LED, so they save a lot of energy and they don't get too hot. The housing is made of plastic, which is a little on the cheap side. I don't know how durable they will be - only time will tell. I bought two sets of these and so far I'm happy.
The lights come with all the wires you should need, however if you need longer wires, you need to buy the Brinkman extension wire or you will need to splice into the wires (something they don't recommend). If you do splice in, make sure you wrap the patch with silicone tape - this stuff is amazing!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by eyeman Adequate light and easy to install but plenty of glare.
We are happy with our purchase and have 3 sets of these lights out front. The value is there for the price we paid. Color of the light is the familiar bluish white of cool white LEDs. The spotlights do their job and are quite bright. The pathway lights have a lot of glare as the LED is located at the base and shines up to be reflected off the top cap,
tiered lights with louvers would be a good choice if they were available at a similar price. On the pathway lights the pointed stake is only 3 inches long so I mounted mine on short pieces of re-bar and they are very sturdy now.
Each light has two 5 foot wires with connectors on the ends which are polarized allowing for easy 10 ft, spacing. For custom installations, you can easily make splices and use crimp connectors, just maintain the proper polarity.
For the price this is a very good starter kit. As I mentioned, we have 3 kits (18 lights) all running off one power pack (and it is hardly warm). Total consumption measured by my Kill-A-Watt meter is just 15 watts. So go with this until a warm white color becomes available and try to overlook the glare of the coach lamp style.
