I wish I could get my money back and spend it on a different brand. Read no further if that's enough for you, if not read on....
I bought this grill and set it up September of 2013. By April 2014 with normal use and regular maintenance, the grill's crossover channels have all started falling off (these allow for the flame to travel from burner to burner after lighting using the automatic igniter). These crossover channels are only lightly tack welded or adhered to their support brackets. As these metal channels are located in close proximity to the burners they expand and contract as all metal will when heated and cooled. Naturally the pieces eventually separate as they have now done in my case. This is a manufacturing defect that Brinkmann is well aware of. These pieces should have been mechanically fastened to prevent the issue. After much effort with customer service (whom are unreachable directly by phone, they will only call you back about 4 -5 hours later). They sent an email advising that the parts are on back-order and are expected 6/29/2014 (must be on a slow boat from other parts of the world) at which point they will then ship the parts out. The instructions I received from their Customer service on how to use the grill until then are below, with pictures showing how to replace them . It seems they have created a stock email for this due to all the issues they have had. If you want to take your grill apart and light every burner by hand each time you use it, then buy this grill! otherwise seek better quality and decent customer service elsewhere...
I have placed the order for your replacement crossover channels. The order number is ...... These channels are easily replaced by simply unscrewing the broken pieces (arms) from the ends of your burners and screwing in the new ones when they arrive. We apologize for the delay in shipment, but these parts are currently on back-order. We appreciate your patience with us concerning this matter, and we will ship the parts out to you as soon as possible.
This part relays the flame from burner to burner, so that the operator can light each burner off of the initial ignition burner, without having to light each burner manually with a match or lighter. There is no gas that flows through these parts- they are only a convenience part, the unit and all burners on the unit can be safely used in the absence of these parts. The unit operator will simply have to light each burner manually, with a match or lighter. You can safely use your unit, and all of the burners on it, while you wait for your order to arrive.
The procedure to follow when lighting your burners manually is completely safe. The procedure for lighting your unit by hand is as follows:
1) Make sure the control knobs to the burners on your unit are turned OFF.
2) Remove your cooking grates and heat shields so that you can access your burners, directly.
3) Turn your fuel source (tank) ON.
4) Strike your match or lighter.
5) Hold the lit match or lighter down into grill, beside the beginning jets (closest to the front) of the burner.
6) Carefully turn knob corresponding to the burner you wish to light ON, gas should catch the match and ignite.
7) Repeat this procedure for the rest of the burners.

Not a lightweight, I unloaded the box in the driveway and carried the components to the back yard for assembly. It took me about 2 hours to complete, using only philips screwdriver and pliers, all the parts were included, none were damaged and the instructions were 99% correct. The grill size is great, and I look forward to large group cookouts. Thus far I have only tested it with Beef and Salmon patties, which I distributed across the surface; all cooked evenly without hot spots detected. Next up are ribeye...

I was a bit concerned about purchasing this grill after reading some of the reviews on this grill not reaching a high temperature. That is not at all the case with my grill. It reached 500 degrees F. in about five minutes. (This was what the grill cover thermometer read and was verified with an oven thermometer I placed inside) I am using LP gas instead of natural gas so perhaps that's why some aren't coming to temp. I was also lucky in that I didn't need to adjust the burners for proper air/gas mixture. The flames were nice and blue from the start. The assembly instructions were fairly clear but could have been a bit more descriptive. The packaging was very nicely done.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mhaller I absolutely love my new grill
My husband and I have been wanting a new grill. I was not wanting to spend a fortune on one. My husband did his research and too at least 2 hours looking everything over. We always have large BBQs and this has tons of room for everything.

I don't understand some of the reviews i have read on this grill. I read them 1st and it made me nervous about buying it. I bought this grill and assembled it my self in about 1.5 hours. Yes the directions were a little sketchy at times but there is an instrucion video on line that shows step by step instructions. I have cooked on it and have no problem getting it upto 500 degrees plus. I think that most people do not adjust the burners properly and that is why they are having problems. As far as the side table being a little flimsy. It cost me $3.50 in hardware and 5 minute of time to add another bolt to sturdy it up so you can use them like handles
