Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by daveb714 Quality, easily portable grill
This grill comes assembled out of the box and all you need to attach is the gas valve which simply screws into the side of the barbecue and slide the grease tray underneath the barbecue. In its collapsed position, the legs fold underneath and the top latches securely shut. When you're ready to use it, you unfold the legs, unlatch the top, attach the propane tank (the small kind used for lanterns) and you're ready to go. There is a hole in the side of the barbecue that allows you to light the burner with a long lighter or it has an included metal wand (attached by chain) you can put a match in. The burner lit perfectly without any difficulty. The burner is covered with a tent shaped metal cover to spread the heat around. The cooking grates are fairly thin so I'm not sure how they'll hold up over the long term but so far, so good. The cooking surface is good size with enough room for about five hamburgers. This portable gas grill is great for bringing to cookouts or anywhere else you want to barbecue on the go.

I've used this grill about a half dozen times now and I have no complaints so far. I've grilled fish, steak, burgers, and vegetables with great results. As far as portability goes, it may be a little cumbersome due to the folding legs that don't lock. I would recommend getting a cover ASAP for this grill to avoid rust (I noticed a little rusting around the clasp but this was minor). Also, I would recommend following the instructions to periodically grease the interior with vegetable oil to further guard against rusting. If you grill a lot, consider getting the adapter for the 20lb propane tank. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Laura No replacement grate available
I would have given this grill a much higher rating, but we were only able to use it for a year. We accidentally left the grate in the grill during the rain, it rusted, and the replacement grates are no longer available. I haven't been able to find a compatible-sized grate except the one Home Depot sells that is expandable and only covers about half the depth of this grill. Plus there's no locking mechanism on the expandable grate, so we've had lots of food fall into the ashes. Now we're just not using the grill anymore and it looks like we'll have to buy a whole new grill. I think this model is going out of stock, which is why the replacement parts aren't being made. Too bad for past (recent past) customers. My only other complaint is that the legs don't lock into place, but that's been covered in other reviews.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AussieLady Small but does a great job!
I have a very small patio area and therefore could not accommodate a full size grill. I purchased the tabletop grill and made a small "table" for it on the patio using two large Mexican pots as a base and tiling a piece of Hardi-board for a tabletop. The grill works great and can cook several large steaks or about 4 large chicken breasts at a time. I have found that the 16 oz. container of propane will only last about 2 meals (at the highest temp setting) including warm up time and plan to buy the conversion hose that will connect it to the larger propane tank. The grill is very easy to clean and I would recommend this product to anyone for home use as well as tail gating or camping.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by EverydayGrillingNut A basic no frills table top grill
This is an ok table top grill. Plenty of room for burgers and chicken for a family of 4-5. The ability to pack the whole thing up like a small suitcase is one of its best selling points. This grill is good for tailgating and picnics in the park. The weak point is the flame control, I wish it was a bit finer...This is not a workhorse grill for everyday use. For what it was designed for, it is a good value. I wish the flame diffuser plate and grill were made of stainless steel, but in this price range, you have to accept the limitations of the construction.

A bit disappointed with the original grill shipped. Many flaws including missing matchlighter, & non-closing latch on front. Quality control is obviously lacking between manufacturer and consumer. I exchanged it in-store, no problems (great customer service BTW), yet took it out of the box to make sure it had all the bits and pieces, etc. There's nothing extraordinary to report about this grill, nothing special, gets the job done.
Looks as if it'll be a good bbq for the beach and camping, reason for our purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tommy great compact grill
Already assembled except for a couple of small pieces. Works great and even got a discount for end of season sale. Highly recommend this grill if you have a small space to BBQ or don't want to use the "big grill" for just a few items.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by restathome Have Grill, Will Travel!
Perfect for small meals at home, apartment use, picnics, tail-gating, and grilling on-the-spot!
This portable grill is 20-lbs light, compact, pre-assembled, and is designed to connect to a 1-lb camping-style disposable propane bottle (sold separately). Cooking on high, the propane lasts about 2-hrs (3-hrs otherwise). A more economical and refillable source is to purchase an adapter hose and run the grill from a standard 20-lb tank.
There’s a single stainless steel tube burner covered by a metal flame guard, a single porcelain coated cooking grate with 1.4 sq ft of cooking space, and a drip tray that attaches to the base. The grill can be lit by long-lighter or match (there’s a match extension attached to a chain to make this safer).
Detach and clean the drip tray, close the lid, latch, collapse the legs, and you have easy suitcase-type carrying and very efficient storage.
