I have a Brinkman grill, that is now just over years old. The original heat tents rusted out in about a year, so I purchased these Stainless steel Heat tents to replace them.
My Brinkman Grill has 4 heat Tents, so at $11 each, this cost me 30% of the purchase price of the grill, which seems like a lot of money for a piece of steel, and some hardware. With new burners also, it was closer to 50%
These heat tents are the only ones HD Carries, but they are way too big to directly replace the original tents.so I had to cut them down quite a bit to fit.
With that said, after $42 and a couple of hours work with some tin snips, my grill is as good as new. They do work very well (i'd say better than the originals) after the modifications.
This most recent set, was the second time I've done this, as the new set rusted out in about a year, just like the original set. I'm expecting to replace the whole grill in about a year's time, so I figured it was worth it, barely.

Don't waste your money. I bought these for my Charmglow grill and witin 3 months, I see rust everywhere on these tents. Luckily, I noticed the rust before 90 days and I had them returned within the 90 return period. Home Depot was kind to take them back eventhough I didn't have any of the packaging material, had my receipt though. These are definitely not stainless steel.

Had it returned without even opening the package after trying on the magnet. The material is highly magnetic, it is a cheap grade polished steel. Must get rusted very quick.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by titan great replacement!
My Kenmore grill needed new heat diffusers which were $33 each and I needed 4 of them. This was a great replacement at a much lower price and it fits perfectly. I like that it's stainless, wont rust like my old ones. Seems like it's a better replacement than the original. I also like that I can use wood chips for flavoring. Used my grill today and works great. Heat distribution seemed better than the original.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by KenB Nice quality but base length too long
I bought this heat tent to replace my rusted/ corroded tent in my Vermont Castings Grill. I thought it would be easy to install since it had an expandable attachment. The problem was that the base was too long so I had to cut the three base pieces to fit my grill.
It would have been a great product if the base length were 3 inches shorter.

They fit perfectly on my grill for length, but I had to make new L- brackets for them to sit on as those were rusted out too. I'm a pack rat and just happened to have some Stainless steel to make the brackets.

So far it is working great. The only thing is I need 4 of them and it is a little pricey.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOUIE This SS heat tent is what I have been looking for in a longtime.
The 4 Stainless Steel heat tents that I bought for our grill fit perfectly with their adjustable length features. The heat is distributed better than the original tents that came in with the grill and they catch the residues on top of the tents instead of falling into the bottom of the grill and they are easy to clean.
