Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what I needed No more forgetting to shut off my hair rollers. Auto Shut off is perfect. The product is great for so many other things to shut off within the hour. I bought one for each of my daughters and granddaughters as well. April 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great so far, easy to use, peace of mind. I love this timer and use it with my flat iron. I am notorious for leaving appliances on and worry about them after I leave the house. So far so good I have had it 6 weeks now. I had read that some do not work after 6 months, but I still purchased it. I did not find anything like it so went ahead and ordered two in case. Price was good so okay if it only lasts a short time, I use it every day sometimes twice a day, it was worth the peace of mind to know it will shut off my hair appliance. I use it also on my sleep rain machine when I go to bed. December 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Effective tool for simple timing I wanted a way to automatically shut off my soldering iron or glue gun, and this timer does the job well. The pushbutton in the lower center alows you to set one of several time intervals (from 5 to 30 minutes, as well as continuous on) indicated by the LEDs on top. When that amount of time runs out, whatever is plugged into it turns off. It would be ideal for a lamp, for example (note that no grounding plug is provided, and it's limited to 300 watts). It's also very compact. I bought one of these at a major national discount retailer years ago, but when I went to buy another, they no longer carried it. Neither did Amazon. I couldn't even find any on eBay. A general Google search led me straight to HomeDepot.com, which appears as the time of this writing to be the ONLY place to buy this timer, and it was shipped to my local store at no charge in about a week. If I need another, they'll get the next order, too. September 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very good product This small outlet timer is just what I needed to make sure I don't leave the coffee pot on all day! September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! Use this on my caffe-latte machine that I use every morning. Set the timer on 30 minutes by pressing the button three times and warm the machine for several minutes then brew. This way don't need to worry whether or not I turn off the machine. Once it was on all day when I forgot to turn it off. When I saw this in a store I knew it will come in handy and it has for several months. Wish it came with choice of hours without night photo sensor. I need it for my candle melting pot. September 2, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Only got about a year our of it I was using this to shut off an electric blanket after I went to sleep. It worked well when it worked. I went to use it after the summer season and it wouldn't work. It was not plugged into a surge detector, so that may have been part of the problem. I took it apart to see if I could repair it but it had a TK99P01 microprocessor in it, and I couldn't find a datasheet in English for that. Cheaper to replace than to repair. November 13, 2013
