Customer Questions & Answers

how do i set time on this timer?

can i get a instruction manual?
Asked by: Ro
The instructions - 1) Turn the dial clockwise until the current time lines up with the “TIME NOW” indicator arrow. NOTE: The Dark area on the dial denotes nighttime hours. The white area is daytime hours. 2) Set the switch to the TIMER ON position. 3) With your finger, pull up all of the tabs. Determine your desired ‘ON’ period and press down all tabs to the required ‘ON’ period. 4) Connect appliance to the timer and plug into a power source.

Customer Reviews

Indoor Heavy Duty Analog Timer-DISCONTINUED is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and handles 1875 Watts of Resistive Heat I had a lllWoods indoor timer but is was noisy, so I purchased this Brinks Indoor Heavy Duty Analog Timer and I am very pleased with it in every way. It is completely quiet, keeps good time, handles a 3-prong plug, is super easy to program and according to the label can handle 1875 Watts of resistive heat - meaning a space heater. It will list a lower number for the tungsten rating, this refers to "lights" and is lower because when a light is turned on it can pull more volts. So if you want to use it for a space heater, the 1875 Watts is what matters; that information is not listed in the Home Depot specs but it is listed on the label on the Brinks timer itself. Also, the lllWoods timer got very "hot." This Brinks stays much, much cooler, which is reassuring when using indoors powering a space heater.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy another brand I bought four for lights when we went away on vacation. Only one of the four function properly- the others do not work. Spend a little extra and get a better one!
