very handy around the yard. fill hole could be a bit bigger and maby a vent hole on the other end for faster draing of water would be nice. the frame sticks out past the 48'' mark so you will need 5' wide trailer to haul it anywhere if it is full of water. but all just little things i have found out, but i am still very happy with it (and so are my friends that borrow it....often)

Bought it, filled it with water and hooked up to my John Deere 165 My lawn has lots of turns and few small hills. The roller did a great job. Like the plastic container and fill cap.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CRSatHomeDepot Excellent assemble instructions
Have not used it yet. I have to comment on the instruction on assembly. The parts come in a blister pack and the instructions follow the layout of the blister pack. It would be very difficult to not put this device together correctly. I have 3 of their products and it has always been very easy to do. It cost them extra money to do this but it makes it easy to follow. Thanks Brinly_Hardy

At first, I loved this Brinley roller. However, I stored it with the water in the roller. After only 3 weeks with it stored this way, the roller side that made direct contact with the floor flattened out. Now, if I pull the roller, it doesn't roll, it bounces like the warped roller it has become. Ridiculous to think that you would be required to empty the roller after each use.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JJ too light for the job I had
The roller was to light to level the ruts in the yard. It would be OK for new lawns.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bobmo Very good lawn roller
I needed a lawn roller to level out my lawn. The winters underground critters had made quite a mess of my lawn. I looked at the steel rollers, but I live near the water, and everything thats steel rusts, also the empty weight of these units is very heavy, and many of the reviewers complained about leaks from bad welds.
I saw this plastic roller, its empty weight is easy to work with, it wont rust, and I can fix the plastic if it does get a hole.
I've used it twice now and am very happy with the 56" length and the job it did on my lawn! I waited for day after a rain when the ground was workable but not soggy. It even smoothed out tire tracks from the septic truck, when he had to back up on my lawn to pump the tank.
All in all I'm happy, I just have to remember to drain it before the winter.

It needs to be clear that the actual working width is only 48 inches.

Roller was easy to assemble. The filler plug was somewhat difficult to thread the first time, and you some rather large slip-joint pliers to install and tighten the plug. Have used the roller a couple of times, works well.
