Customer Questions & Answers

Is there bearing in the two ends that hold the drum ?

I looked at pictures and can not tell
Asked by: pork
There is a nylon collar. The steel axle protrudes from the drum. One is longer than the other so you need to assemble the long side first. If you slather a bit of grease on the axle and collar when you put it together it will last a bit longer. You wont be pulling this very fast, so the components will last many years if you clean it up and keep it lubed. Bob

Would it be ok to put full roller up on jack stands, so not to empty after every use (flat spot on roller)?
Asked by: Lumpy
Hi Lumpy, Not sure if that would help or not. We have not tested that. What I would suggest if that does not work would be to rotate the drum every few days to keep from flat spots. If you have any questions or is you try out the stands and it works we would be happy to know. Brinly Hardy Team

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor workmanship The workmanship on this, being American made , is awful . It leaked water from around the area where you fill it so badly that we had to keep filling it just to finish the yard

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lawn Roller If like me you have a rough ride while cutting grass after a long muddy winter, this product works great in most of my 6 acres. It flattens the ground to make it a much more even cut and a less bumpy ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This does everything I expected it to do. I don't have a riding mower so this is operated with man power. I have a 4' long black pipe that I use as a handle. Totally full of water 2 men that can pull this around the yard easily. My yard was so lumpy I thought I would sprain my ankle walking across it, it is much better now. Once a year, after really good rain, I have the yard rolled, and every year it just keeps getting better. When the job is done I drain the water, and it is light enough for me to carry it into the garage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good lawn roller I needed a lawn roller to level out my lawn. The winters underground critters had made quite a mess of my lawn. I looked at the steel rollers, but I live near the water, and everything thats steel rusts, also the empty weight of these units is very heavy, and many of the reviewers complained about leaks from bad welds. I saw this plastic roller, its empty weight is easy to work with, it wont rust, and I can fix the plastic if it does get a hole. I've used it twice now and am very happy with the 56" length and the job it did on my lawn! I waited for day after a rain when the ground was workable but not soggy. It even smoothed out tire tracks from the septic truck, when he had to back up on my lawn to pump the tank. All in all I'm happy, I just have to remember to drain it before the winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent assemble instructions Have not used it yet. I have to comment on the instruction on assembly. The parts come in a blister pack and the instructions follow the layout of the blister pack. It would be very difficult to not put this device together correctly. I have 3 of their products and it has always been very easy to do. It cost them extra money to do this but it makes it easy to follow. Thanks Brinly_Hardy
