They are. The tires are a normal tubeless design; replaceable if need be. Considering the low operation speed and usage, these tires would dry rot before the tread wore down. You have no worries with the tires here.

There's a small electrical connector, with a switch, that you get along with the sprayer. It connects to the battery, and remains connected. So to use the pump you hook it up to the tractor, make the quick connection, turn the switch and start spraying!

On-line there are several article about adding agitators to lawn sprayors and how you run the risk of damaging your lawn without them to keep the solutions stirred. Can an agitator be added to subject question model?

That is pretty powerful inside the tank and it would move the solution inside the tank pretty good. Really, no need to hook/unhook the boom. If you worry about settling, then you should stop spraying and repeat the agitation with the wand inside the tank every so often. I have mine running on its own battery, with a 50' long heavy duty hose, so I stop the tractor and pull the hose around where I need to spray. Most times I keep the cap off, and if needed, I stick the wand back in the tank for a minute or so. Read Less

This pump is strong, so I feel my mixes are well homogenized. Read Less

There is no provision for the addition of an agitator for this sprayer. Agitators that somehow connect to the filler hole could possibly work, but the filler hole is the only available port to utilize.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 25 gallon tow-behind garden sprayer Easy to assemble, easy to use, good product. I would recommend this product to family and friends. July 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not very pleased with this purchase This product when it works, is great. Unfortunately I can't seem to get a pump that works for any period of time. I have had the product about two years and have used it about four times. Two times the first year and two times the second year. The pump went up after the first year and Brinly Hardy was very cooperative and sent me a new pump. I used the new pump two times and it worked fine. I then stored it in the garage for several months and just recently went to use it and the pump was not pumping any water, just as the first one did. Looking at the reviews there doesn't seem to be any complaints similar to mine so I can't figure out what's going on. I'll contact Jennifer at Brinly Hardy to see if there is someone there who can shed some light on this issue. July 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Sprayer, Spray handle needs improvement Company needs to reinforce the sprayer handle where the water supply attaches. Weak plastic molded male extending from the handle broke off flush rending it sprayer useless until I find a way to either get another handle for it or sprayer "part". June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hoses and calculations Just bought this sprayer so cannot comment on durability. However, during assembly I do have a couple of suggestions. First, the hose from the pump to the boom needs to be about 6" longer and I think I would devise some type of stabilization in the opening through the center of the boom. I can easily predict through vibration the hose/hose barb may be damaged. Secondly, the boom supports are unstable, perhaps some brace from the boom bar to the tank or use something other than the small rods that mount to the chassis. Let me add that your calculation procedures are misleading. "Example 1"...4 acres = 20,000 sq ft. Wrong, there are 43,560 sq ft per acre March 3, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs additional durability and has questionable quality from the factory. My sprayer had several issues - first, the holes in the front of the frame did not line up with the inserts in the tank, so when assembled at the factory, one of the inserts was damaged by prying to get the hardware started, causing the tank to split about an inch, which caused a leak. Second, the plastic fittings on the pump were cracked, so I replaced with a metal equivalent. Thirdly, the booms could be easily improved by adding a flat washer between to allow for easier folding and unfolding - a $0.10 improvement that keeps the booms from coming loose and looks much more professional. Finally, the use of rubber washers between the tank and frame would reduce the chance of cracking the tank and would reduce vibration. I have corrected each of these issues, but a $350 item should not have problems like this. March 3, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 2 gals of Round-up on my lawn when tank split open after 3 yrs of seasonal residential use, I used this sprayer for about 3 yrs. for Round-up, Pre&Post-emergent herbicides and Demon (soluble powder) insecticide. While it works OK with very fluid mixtures, the thicker ones (like Surflan) tend to clog it. I was not very successful with the boom, it was inconsistent, from licking to dripping to spraying heretically; so I only used the hand wand as I could see what I sprayed and how it covered. Last week, while on a wild mission of reclaiming my yard from the weeds, as I was getting ready to pull-off the "filling station" by the deck, I realized I had a massive leakage from the tank. By the time I recovered from shock, I probably lost 2 gal. of Round-up. I rushed to unhook the trailer & flipped it on its back end until solution cleared the split. And then pumped it in my 1gal sprayer and finished the job 8 hrs later... To add insult to injury, Home Depot does not offer a replacement tank. We already tried to repair the tank using meltable polyethylene sticks, found on the internet and recommended specifically for these tanks, "as they have the propensity to split and break". Well, that did not work too well either, as the repair held for 2 more applications, only to loose the post-emergent this time. Well, at least it was on the same spot the Round-up started the job. And another 8 hrs later I finished that too, one heavy gallon at a time, in 95F/85%humidity... I would not wish that to my enemy, so no, I would not recommend it to anyone. While it is very convenient to mix 20+ gallons at a time and not have to lift, pull, or pump, it does the job, when the wand does not drip in closed position. But I have PTSD now, wondering if I could ever trust any plastic tank filled with 20-25 gal. of Round up crossing my lawn... June 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worth the money for the quality I bought this to put less burden on my weed spraying duties on m 4 acres of land and half mile driveway. I have been impressed with the sprayer as a whole from day one. The installation process was pretty easy, took about 45 mins to an hour. My only issue was one of the hoses they provided was ridiculously short for what they wanted me to do with it on the sprayer. But, a quick drive into my local hardware and $5 solved that issue. Overall, the sprayer and pump are awesome. I have cut down on my spray time and now spraying isnt so much of a chore lasting a couple hours but a routine I can knock out in 30 mins. September 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great customer service After putting the sprayer together following the instructions, which was easy to do, I filled it up and turned it on to have it start spraying out of the top of the pump. There was a crack in it where one the fittings had been screwed in at the factory. I called customer service and they were great. Shipping me a new pump without any problems. Everything else on the sprayer looks great. I didn't have any of the other problems I've seen in the reviews which makes me wonder if the instructions were followed correctly by them. Overall a nice sprayer. July 30, 2015
