I bought this to level about 40 feet by 35 feet of yard space. When I bought we did not realize there's other parts needed to hook this up 1982 216 john deere. Witch cost a extra $375.00. But got together just tried it out wow this is going to be fun playing with it in the yard. Well made heavy. I wish there was 2 sets of blades thing 1 about 4 to 5 inches longer. We are very happy with it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tim Great product for the money
Heavier weight and better quality than I expected. This will not do what a bigger tractor with a 6 ft box scraper will do but it's very nice for smaller jobs.

Appears to be made of quality steel parts. Does what I want it to do. The only problem I hae with this unit is:
1. The pivot for the blade to the handle was welded off of 90-degrees to the tow bar. Should have been perpendicular to the pull of the mower. Not really a major issue, but still was this an intentional design?
2. The ripper bar does not fit easily between the slots in the side pieces. Appears that one side (or the other) the slot was cut at a slight angle instead of parallel to the other side. Tried using a large bar and wrench to put a slight twist in the ripper bar so it would be easier to insert/remove. It appears to be off one-eighth of an inch. Had to completely loosen the side plates to even be able to get it closer to fitting, then had to use a large hammer (and a helper) to get it inside the locking slot (using the spring pin). Then had to tighten everything up again. Might wear in with continued use, but ripper teeth won't always be needed.
Other than those two points, it appears to be a good unit to do what I want it to do. Because of the quality of the fit I can only give this unit a 3.

A bit nasty to put together, took me about 2 hours but spent the next 2.5 running up down a Gravel drive finding gravel that had been buried a long time, The scraper along with the tines work well although 4 more tines would be better.

The unit assembled easily and fit my sleeve hitch. The cement block I used needed to be trimmed to fit. I placed the scarifier bar in the disengaged orientation during my initial driveway grading project. The scarifier bar fell out after a few minutes of use, but slight adjustment should rectify this. Otherwise, the unit performed well and seems durable.

Your box scraper looks to be a good product BUT it should be advertised with a sleeve hitch to be sold with it. Now I have a unit I cannot use because I have no sleeve hitch. The toro zero turn mower as far as I can tell is Home Depot does not carry a sleeve hitch for the tow behind box scraper

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dave So far so good
It was received on time with box in good shape. All parts were present. Instruction sheet not best in world but makes sense as you get into the assembly process. I went together with minimal issues. There is where I stand right now, because of a late snow storm and days of rain I have not been fully able to test it on my gravel driveway. It looks like it will do the job I bought it for, to move around rock and gravel that got displaced by jeep based snowplow this past winter. The only issue I have had so far is tracking down a sleeve hitch from another to mount on my garden tractor. I will update this review when things dry out.
