Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by EBTEK Can HARDLY wait till Fall (leaves)
Assembly was 'OK', but the instructions could be tweaked a little. From the initial LOOKS of the sweeper, I assumed every little bit would be 'captured' and flung into the bag, but I'm now thinking my expectations were a bit high.
It 'sweeps' 'OK', but what impressed me the most, was the EASE of dumping the debris. THOUGHT I would have to struggle with the weight, but, the sweeper is balance to the point that it was very easy to dump.
NOTHING really negative to say - I'm just a Perfectionist.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ARUBAFRANK Great lawn sweeper but??
Directions for last steps for catch basket very hard to follow. I finally brought it back to HD and had their lawn installation team finish the build. Staff at HD had it ready the next day. I along with two mechanics could not figure it out. Thanks HD
Has great pick-up (grass & leaves) easy to tow and dump.

I had Home Depot put it together... wrong idea !! I had to take it apart and start from the beginning !! Now it doesn't pick up grass like I expected. I tried several settings and it still leaves a majority of grass on my 1 acre lawn. So, what is wrong ? Looking for help or I'm trashing it... Brinkley, email me !!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RicC Annoying instructions, good sweeper.
The instructions correspond nicely with the shrink packed nuts, bolts, and washers. Then suddenly the instructions get very vague and all of section # 8 of the equipment is skipped. Save yourself the frustration and watch the YouTube video from Brinly (Brinly STS-427LXH Lawn Sweeper Assembly) for clarification. Once it was put together the sweeper did a great job on my 1.5 acre property. It doesn't do corners well due to the lack of speed to spin the brushes. Overall my lawn looks much better after using this sweeper.

Look at design, you've got metal gear bearings chewing up plastic other gear on the wheels, replaced 2 bearings and 1 wheel, on you second season, I am much more careful witt my sweep height now, also HD does not carry replacement parts, had to look online, home depot if you are going to carry products that fail, please carry their parts too!

Horrible! Absolutely horrendous! You spend so much money for a product and it's not even manufactured properly?!?!?

First of all, the instructions are horrible! It took hubs and I forever to put this together, and we had to back up and redo some parts because the instructions were not clear. We measured, hooked it up to our mower and the darn brushes didn't even touch the grass. It did a horrible job! Ended up taking it back to the store. There's 4 hours of my life I'll never get back! :/ go with another brand.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HDCustomer Good Product, Poor Assembly Instructions (second part of the instructions)
The product is top. I gave it four stars because of the assembly instructions. What a mess. Up to the canopy (or that bag that collects the debris) step by step instructions are top. Every single picture, i.e. pic. 1 corresponds to the pic. 1 hardware package, that is very carefully put on one vacuum sealed sheet. All bolts and nuts are perfectly organized up to the canopy part. They offer some bolts washers and nuts that you will never have to use and they correspond to the pictures on the assembly book. The instructions for the canopy are so poor there is no step by step and basically they give you hardware that use will never have to use. When you start assembling, on some of the frames you see only one pre-drilled hole and you think there must be another one and you drill it. Well, folks you should not do that. I want to say once you get to the canopy part skip few of the prepared bolts and nuts until you see the final picture and you will be fine. If you drill holes you will find yourself searching for a solution to make it good again.
To the product and the use of it, it is very easy to use, I want to say a pleasure to use it. I don't have any experience with the plastic toots on the wheels so far, since I've used it only once. A lot of folks are complaining that they wear out very quickly, I can't tell at this stage. I've collected lots of dead grass and roots from previously dethatched lawn as well as the first leafs in the fall. So far so good. I've collected close to 4 full bags of yard waste in absolutely no time and dump them on my compost pile as easy as I collected them. You can never do that so easy with a rake and wheelbarrow on a half of acre. I can't wait for the sweet gum balls to fall down. This year I will win the battle, unless the plastic wheels brake.
