How can I find the Stake Side Kit for this cart?

This question is from 650 lb. 10 cu. ft. Tow-Behind Poly Utility Cart
June 4, 2014
Just purchased this cart from local store all parts included to build the cart and assembly went fine.
However, it came with a separate copy of instructions for Brinly Stake Side Kit, but no parts were actually included to build it.

I am hoping to find out if this cart is supposed to come with these parts or not.
If yes - then how do I get the missing parts? If not, where can I purchase the kit?
Brinly website does not list the kit, nor can I find it on Home Depot website.

thanks!

Hi Puzz,
it does not come with the actual kit, just the instructions to DIY, build it yourself. The paper with kit instructions lists the parts you will need to build it. It is an easy DIY project.
thanks,

Will help if you have a table saw to make the cuts described in the instructions but it can be done without it. Read Less

I searched for the stake side kit as well but did not find one. I'm pretty sure it's not in production. That said an assembly sheet for the stake-side kit was provided with the Brinley cart that had the dimensions and hardware list. It would be pretty easy to build one.

The parts are available to purchase in the Lumber department. It is not a kit, but rather a DIYer project and very easy! Have the Home Depot associate help you out and cut the wood for you. If you have no tools at home, they will assist you in putting it together.

Thank you for your question. The manual that is included with your cart is for a Do-It-Yourself stake side kit. It's meant to be used as a reference so that you can purchase the correct pieces of lumber and hardware to build stake sides that will fit correctly. The actual stakes and hardware do not come with the cart, but the materials can be purchased at your local Home Depot.

Hi Karey,
As long as it has the standard hitch plate on the back for a hitch pin to fit through, then yes this unit will work for your tractor.

Hi Sudduth,
I bought this recently and am very happy with it. As for the pin, it is a generic pin (bolt like thing with no threads and a cotter type pin to secure it once connected. In a pinch, any fat bolt @ 3-4" long will work. you can get the trailer hitch pin at any home depot. they will have generic and a fancier one that spring releases from the top (it IS handy).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Briny 650 in cart Great cart. Wished it dumped the full load would have given 5 stars. Easy assembly by myself. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by seems well built Everything looks good, thick poly body, nice wide tires and the steel is thick, uses a body width V underneath to hold the axle which seems more sturdy than thin brackets on some others. is built ready for a stake kit and they supply instructions with materials list to build one. Homedepot needs watched, check off the manufacturer supplied parts list before you leave or you may end up with a fairly bulky return, currently speaking with brinly about ordering (hopefully free) what homedepot must've dropped or someone snatched. [the entire dumping assembly: clevis, pedal and bracket] hope i don't have to haul this back to HD. should've checked before i left, my bad. May 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Briny hardy Works well. Put together easily. No time at all. Great product July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value & made in USA Solid and sturdy -- a much better value than the John Deere cart. The steele axle is fully supported. The steel rims have both oil-impregnated bearings and zerk fittings for grease. The parts card is organized by each assembly step and even has finger holes to make removing nuts, bolts, and washers easy. A cardboard template is included for making bed dividers. I assembled it in less than 45 minutes. As with any cart of this size, those with short arms will need an assistant to help mount the bed. This cart will last a lifetime! July 1, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok, but not great I bought this to haul dirt around my 7 acre property, pulls fine.....but doesn't dump all the dirt out...have to shovel half the load...other than that, easy to assemble, all parts labeled well. July 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One Tough Cart Did a bunch of research on this type of trailer. Was a bit cautious on the poly made. This is one tough unit. Easy to assemble, tows well behind the lawn tractor. Carries a heavy load with no issues. Love to dump all the collections right out. My wife and son even built some side rails for it too so that they can carry more yard trimmings. February 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very well built, great price compared to the identical John Deer, thanks to Store 1252 for help ! Bought this at Home Depot store 1252 in Johnson City NY, to use for hauling bark. Got home and was putting it together, which took an hour, with the excellent instructions, and found 1 part was missing, the axle. The Customer service at store 1252 was great they opened a new one and gave me the part. The next it was working hard and doing a great job. Really well built with grease fittings on the wheels. The bed seems really tough and the dump feature works well, and you don't have to bend over. Thanks again to the people at the Binghamton store. Made in USA ! Yeah ! May 31, 2016
