Probably not. It's a little too heavy and needs a secured junction box for installation.

Answer:
The heating elements are different in these heaters. Model 154 is primarily a fan-forced heater with an exposed, chrome alloy wire element, while Model 157 is more of a radiant heater, with an enclosed, sheathed heating element and fan. For additional information, please contact our Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice heater. I had these two ceiling bathroom heaters installed by an electrical contractor. They are perfect for our small bathrooms. A little pricey but nice to have the warmth in there in the winter. Totally worth it. February 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Feel the Heat Adds a nice flow of warm air near the shower while drying off. January 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product was on sale half price Does a great job. It would be nice if the metal was not so easy to bend. I used a light fixture base to install the product for a professional appearance. It operates as described. December 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product This heater works very well in our small bathroom. We turn it on about 10 minutes before shower time and turn it off when done. We originally bought a digital timer for it but it only worked about 3 times. We now just have a on/off switch which is not a problem with just my wife and I, no kids to forget to turn off. December 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pushes out some nice heat Very easy to install> Eliminates having to make another hole in the ceiling . Customer was pleased . October 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well as a heated fan If you intend to heat a room, this is probably not the product you want. Not enough power unless its a very small room. Mine is installed about the wife's sink and provides a nice warm air draft during mirror time. Installed it on a 15 minute timer for automatic shutoff. Ran daily for 5 years before the heating element burned out. Ordering and replacing element and the safety breaker was relatively simple. May 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Heat for a fair price The heater provides good heat in bathroom on those chilly mornings. Installs on standard octagon box no need to chop big holes in the ceiling. Nice big heating element like you would get on a stove not a thin piece of Nichrome wire. January 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product has good features My criticism is not with Home Depot--everything from their side went as stated with no problems noted. My problem is with the manufacturers. We brought a ceiling heater 10 years ago from same manufacturer that was 14" in dia., the new heater only came in 11" dia., with a faux ceiling this presented a real problem. November 19, 2013
