Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JNick Silent, even, immediate heating when needed.
Purchased a summer home with this unit in the kitchen. It was very noisy at first and seemed awful. After a remodel job the heater was removed and installed by an electrician. Now is nearly silent and seems to be a really nice feature. It is linked to a baseboard heater near-by and a wall thermostat. On a cold morning you get nearly immediate heat which is nice in conjunction with the slower to appear baseboard heat. -JCM Kewaunee, WI.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by SDCD Alot of heat with alot of noise
Bought this heater as a supplement in our kitchen. Installer recommended by home depot did a great job. The 1500 Watts is plenty of heat but the fan has to run at full speed all the time. It is very loud. we cannot watch TV without turning volume way up or carry on a conversation without turning the heater off. Really a great heater for a bathroom or spare room where noise will not be an issue. Would not recommend for kitchen.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Leigh Disappointed with the performance.
Contractor installed three of these when we remodeled our kitchen and added a small mud room six years ago. One of them, the one in the kitchen, operates silently as promised. The other two in the mudroom were quite noisy from the start. The heating element on one of the noisy ones recently burned out. Not a particularly long life, and weak performance.

This heater works well but the rewire to 110 is tricky. Comes w/240 as default wiring. The wire connections labels on the main connecter are almost impossible to see. Once you find the labels, you can figure it out. A little confusing if you have already moved the default setup. Also it was maybe 1/2 inch wider than the one I replaced, so I had to widen the opening.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by doug the product is noisy and arrived damaged
product arrived damaged but did not realize until the installer arrived. Had to straighten out bent pieces. If not installed would have had to pay for the service call.
once installed noise is really bad and heat is limited. Will have to buy something else.

I bought this heater as a replacement for an original heater that quit working and had it installed by a certified HVAC company. They actually had to take up some of my laminate floor to slide it under the cabinet. It worked fine for about a month then just stopped working. They came back took up the flooring again and pulled the heater back out. He opened up the heater and saw one of the wires burned off the heating element. I took it to the local Home Depot and was reimbursed. I ordered and received another one and am waiting for the HVAC company to come back to install it. Even though the heater only cost $179.00, I paid to have it installed and I'll have to pay again when they install the replacement. Will hold off recommending or not recommending this heater until I see how the second one works.
