Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Homeowner Don't buy this!
I am removing two of these original units from my home because they don't actually move any air. Although it is rated at 70 cu. ft per minute, going into the attic and placing my hand near the exhaust reveals little or no air being exhausted. Looking at the plastic impeller design, I can see no way for air to be moved out of the housing or room. The impeller simply spins around like a noisy merry-go-round in open air, with no baffles to channel air out of the housing.
So don't waste your time installing something that doesn't work. IMOP you should buy an exhaust fan with a squirrel cage blower for best results. Quieter and more efficient.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Larry Product bought was 71 CFM Ceiling Exhaust Fan
The product CFM 71 was exactly what I need to replace my exhaust fan in the bathroom. The price was very good compared to other companies with the same product.

The mounting bracket was on the wrong side of the unit for my purposes. I had to return the product. Home Depot accepted the return without objections for which I commend them.

Too loud for small residential bathroom but I knew what it was when I bought it. Highly recommend home depot!

I chose three different fans and let the electrician make the final decision. The fan fit great, runs quieter than expected. I am very satisfied with the product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Skinnyt Great Product For A Great Price
Went to my local hardware store and found this unit. Unit was easy to wire and mount. Like the ease of not having to use any tools to take the motor out or put it in. This unit replaced an older unit that was on its last leg. Night and day difference and a lot quieter..

I ordered this ceiling fan because it was the same dementions and size of the current one I had. The one I had was original in the house. So if this one lasts half of twenty years that one did, I will be happy. The old model I had was the 688 and this fit into the hole in the ceiling the exact same. Very happy with the purchase. Easy installation and was ready in the store to pick up within a week!

These were extremely louder than my original units. These are the lowest cfm HD sells. Keep this in mind. Easy to install if you are replacing the old units. You'll just use the interior plate with the old box. Snaps in in seconds.
