Answer:
These are probably the dimensions of just the metal case. Our heater would fit into a box about 6.25" on a side. The fixed handle, switches, air exhaust grill and rubber feet poke out of various sides to make the total size larger and almost a perfect cube of around 6.25". It is impressively small though.

Answer:
I did not take actual measurements of this heater but it is a small cube. It fits anywhere that you want to put it. I have another heater and when that breaks I will buy another big heat heater by Broan. I could have three of them and they would equal the size of my other heater. It is amazing the amount of heat that this small heater puts out.

Answer:
Our unit has been running continuously for several hours on the low setting and all surfaces of the case are cool to the touch EXCEPT for the grill over the air output which is hot. Not cherry red hot, but too hot to comfortably touch for more than a second.

We had the motor-home up to 68 degrees and then we started to get too hot so we lowered the thermostat. We still could have set the thermostat higher if we wanted it hotter. I am not sure exactly what the highest setting would have heated the RV to.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The unit’s thermostat says Cooler and Warmer. The heater itself can get to a pretty good temperature, around 125 degrees. If you have additional questions, dial 888-336-6151 and our Technical Support Department can assist. Thanks, again.

They had several sitting around in use, so I was able to see it in action. I talked the manager into selling it to me. It was love at first sight. After two years, I began to worry that I would not be able to find another one if mine ever went out. When I searched the internet, I was delighted to find them at Home Depot for such a great price. Received it two days early. These little powerhouses have lots of pluses. They put out a better blast of hot air than any small space heater I have used in the past...and I have used a lot of space heaters in my day. They are square, so they don't tip over easily like some of the top heavy ones we see at Walmart. Handle on top makes them very easy to pick up and relocate to another spot. Knobs are comfortable and easy to use for those of us with arthritis. Caution light is always good. This may not matter to most but I did love the industrial look that blends in very well with my decorating style. One thing you will love is how this space heater thermostat will not shut the heater down prematurely. Neither of my heaters have shut down while the room was still cold. I find a bad thermostat to be one of the most frustrating points about a cheap space heater. I feel confident that you will never go back once you have used this heater. It is worth the little extra you pay for it compared to the ones sold in drug stores and box stores. I can't say enough good things about my little Broan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a beast! We live in a 26 foot travel trailer and used this during the storm where it got to -20 degrees and 80 mph winds, we stayed toasty, as we watched others abandon their trailers to the weather, it's a beast. Running on high, puts out massive amounts of heated air and we generally run it on low. If used in an rv, I recommend an sizable extension cord ran for just this, to keep from drawing electricity from the inside of the trailer. We have had ours for 3 years and still going strong. It may seem pricey, but worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BIG HEAT 1500-WATT CERAMIC ELECTRIC PORTABLE HEATER When I saw how small it was 6x6...(that's inches folks), I said, "what have I purchased?" But after giving it a try, I am absolutely happy with the performance of this little dynamite of a heater. My room is 12 x 19 and this little heater keeps us warm and comfortable. I like the thermostat feature also. The only thing-if you want to keep it on carpeting make sure you have something non-flammable under it (like a 12x12 piece of tile) because it does get hot after a while.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent compact room heater Good little heater for small spaces, metal case appears sturdy. We use it inside our RV but it should be tough enough for a shop environment. 2 minor design related squawks: 1) the controls are on the side rather than the top of the heater making it difficult to see them to adjust if the unit is on the floor, and 2) the internal thermostat is too "twitchy" and often turns on the heater for just 1 or 2 seconds every 30 seconds until the room temperature falls enough to call for longer periods of heat.
