Answer:
The fan is designed for use with incandescent bulbs. Substitution of a self-ballasted Compact Florescent Lamp (CFL) for an incandescent bulb can be done if some critical guidelines are followed. Even by following these guidelines, the bulb may still have shorter than expected life or reduced light performance as not all bulbs are created equal. Answer:
Thank you for your question. The unit is designed for an incandescent. However, if you can find a bulb small enough that is suitable (size), you can certainly try it. You may also want to consider the QTXN110HFLT which is a heat/vent/fluorescent light/night light unit. If you have further questions, please contact our Technical support Department at 888-336-6151. Thanks, again.

Answer:
The larger size duct (6”) allows for the quieter operation. If you reduce the duct to 4” this is acceptable; however, you may notice it running slightly louder. You can run 110 CFM through 4” pipe. If you have further questions, just contact out Technical Support Department at 888-336-6151. Thank you.

All features worked first time. Nice features are the night light and the heater. The heater blower is very quiet but the vent fan is very loud which is a disappointment since it specificly said "Very Quiet". It is too much trouble to take down to return or I would return it and buy a different brand.

The heater works well and the Exhaust Fan is very quite. I had the unit installed by a Handyman, but used a licensed Electrician to install a separate dedicated 20am line and breaker. Get three estimate when choosing an Electrician to make sure you don't over pay for installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny! Who knew that the nightlight in the fan would be so nice? It gets turned on after dark every night. The exhaust fan is quiet. The heat element hasn't been used yet. It is summer, and a very hot one.
