Answer:
Thank you for your question. The unit is designed for an incandescent. However, if you can find a bulb small enough that is suitable (size), you can certainly try it. You may also want to consider the QTXN110HFLT which is a heat/vent/fluorescent light/night light unit. If you have further questions, please contact our Technical support Department at 888-336-6151. Thanks, again.

Answer:
The larger size duct (6”) allows for the quieter operation. If you reduce the duct to 4” this is acceptable; however, you may notice it running slightly louder. You can run 110 CFM through 4” pipe. If you have further questions, just contact out Technical Support Department at 888-336-6151. Thank you.

Answer:
Thank you for your question about the switch. This Heat/Vent/Light/Night Light unit, QTX110HL, requires that you purchase the 4-function switch separately. We would recommend the following model: 77DW. This model can be purchased on HomeDepot.com. If you have further questions about the product, just dial 888-336-3948 and our Customer Service Department can assist you. Thanks, again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT bath fan Impressed with how quiet this fan is and it has a light and heater! A++++ July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worth every penny! Who knew that the nightlight in the fan would be so nice? It gets turned on after dark every night. The exhaust fan is quiet. The heat element hasn't been used yet. It is summer, and a very hot one. August 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Loved it until it stopped working less than a year after install I spent more than I wanted to on a fan/heater because this was rated really well. I also recommended it to a friend... While this fan was wonderful when it was first installed less than a year ago, the heater has stopped working and now blows cold air out. Going to try to contact Broan to see if there is any warranty that will support this issue. April 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Had no problem I was remolding my bath room and wanted a new exhaust fan that was quit and efficient ,this fan with exhaust and heat was the perfect fit .I had to order on line ( a first for me ) and I had my doubts but the ordering on line was easy and delivered faster then was told . Installation was easy and quick .I plan to order more thing from home depot on line . I'm now more confident then ever. Matt T of lake worth Fl. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Bathroom Fan & Heater I could not be more pleased with this vent fan and heater. It's very quiet - much more so than the one we replaced and although I didn't think I cared much for the night light feature, it is really nice to have and offers a nice touch with a soft light. I was glad that I had it professionally installed by an electrician because I did not want to mess with a tight attic crawl space for its 6 inch vent and the wiring diagram was intimidating for my limited electrical skill. December 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! This fan/heater is terrific. Had it professionally installed. The fan is super quiet, yet strong. The heater works great. I could stand under it all day! December 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by so quiet. heat fan warms perfectly. the unit runs very quietly. on a few cold mornings this fall the heat fan was so very nice. I like that the light, night light, vent and heat are all in one unit. October 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Braun QTX Series 110 CFM Ceiling Exhaust Bath Fan with Light and Heater Nice and quiet even though I am using a 4" vent. I may change that out for a 6" just so I have more volume, but the mirror has not fogged up even with the 4". Light is bright. Needed to have an electrician install seeing as I didn't have a dedicated 20 amp circuit for the heater. July 21, 2015
