Your basic bbq. Nothing fancy here and even with the tank on it the unit is light in weight. If in a windy location expect that it will tip over if not secured or weighed down. I knew that I was buying an entry level unit but once assembled I found that the igniter did not work at all. The battery provided was too weak, but even replacing it with a new one failed to get it to work. Also the upper casting did not properly overlap the bottom casting so I have to go past a grab point to close the lid... every time. It may wear down in time, or it might break the handle with the added force that is needed to close it. One thing for sure is that with the noise it makes the neighbours will know for sure when I am using it! How can you cast it such that it doesn't fit properly... honestly?

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Newfoundlander55 3 month warranty NOT life time
Bought this BBQ less than a year ago and have used it less then four months . The cover has a 4 inch crack close to the handle. Home Depot doesn't handle the warranty and directed us to the company. We phoned the Company and were told we have to pay shipping costs for a part that has a life time warranty. I must say we were very disappointed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MarthaStewartFan Can't beat the price or quality
I assembled this BBQ this past Saturday. Assembly time was around 45 minutes. Everything lined up nicely (as long as you follow the instructions!!) If you misunderstand the instructions, you can easily end up trying to force some of the screw into place.
This BBQ has a very large cooking surface. Cast Iron cooking grates are a plus. Aluminium lid and body. Great heat-up time.
The stand is a bit wobbly. I haven't found a way to securely attach the side shelves (they keep sliding off!)
I would 100% recommend this BBQ to friends.

I bought this at least 10 years ago. It still works almost as well as the day I bought it. The burners have been replaced once, the igniter gave up some years ago so we use a lighter or a match in the provided hole on the side. No big deal. In a wind storm it blew off the patio deck, 3 steps to the ground, landing upside down. A big mess to clean, and the sturdy aluminum cover suffered a very small crack, but that's it... and it still grills like a champ. I never cover it, it sits outside year round...winter, summer, rain and snow. The right burner is not as quite as hot as the left now, but only slightly, but knowing that, it cooks great. Buy this barbeque if you just want a barbeque that does the job, and lasts. We had a natural gas line installed to our back deck and sadly, we are looking for a new barbeque. We hope our new one will be as good as this one.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PEIslander99 Extremely happy
I just purchased this BBQ 2 days ago. Bought it instore, took it home and had it assembled in 45 minutes. It was VERY easy to assemble and there was no second guessing instructions or fit. Fired it up the next morning, seasoned the grill and used it for BBQ'd steaks for supper. I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this grill to anyone.

We bought this based on our experience with our last Broil King bbq. Ordered on line and got free delivery. Received it within 5 days of order, and put together on Saturday.
Negatives: As others have noted, the directions could be clearer. Two people needed for assembly. Cheaper materials and build quality (which we expected for the price) and feels flimsy when moving it. Trays do not lock in place and pull off very easily. Tank mount system is 'interesting' - suspect will not hold the tank in place if trying to move the bbq any kind of distance, especially over rough terrain.
Pluses: Ignites easily, heats up fairly quickly, cooks good with no cold spots found.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by flatiron Great BBQ
If this is in the price range you want to pay and if you are satisfied with the features and looks of this BBQ then don't hesitate to buy it. It has great quality and a quality burner and cast iron grill. It is a bit bigger then I was expecting which was a pleasant surprise. It has really high heat output and the same burner/flavr wave system as the more expensive models. It is easy to move around too because of its relatively lighter weight and its big wheels as compared to my older bbq with the four small coaster type wheels. If it had a side burner then this would be the ideal bbq for me. At this price you can buy a nice shiny new one every 4 or 5 years and still be ahead!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bferna This is a great product!
I recently purchased this grill and I have to say it has really impressed me. The construction is solid and the materials that are used are quite good. Cooking performance is excellent. The heat is even and it does not flare up like my last grill did. The cooking grid holds heat well and sears perfectly. While it may not impress your neighbours by the way it looks, it certainly will impress them by the way it cooks. This is a very simple grill. No extras that most people don't use anyways, just a solid well designed unit. Get yourself a good barbeque cover and it will last for years. I simply can't believe that it only costs $200. I am VERY pleased with this purchase.
