Answer:
Yes, as soon as you release the trigger, the water stops - however, when it is not in use it is still advisable and recommended to use the shut off flow control valve that attaches to the water inlet, otherwise the constant pressure on the trigger valve may cause it to fail.

Answer:
Yes, it does. However, I recommend releasing the pressure on the hose after use. Shut off the on/off valve provided, then spray the remaining pressure into the bowl and hang up the nozzle.

The spray stops when the trigger is released but the t-valve under the toilet tank will need to be closed each time after using the bidet.

Answer:
The T-Valve should mount to the water inlet of the toilet tank. Water coming from the primary supply should flow through the toilet shutoff valve, then through the T-Junction, then to the toilet. The picture should clarify the installation.

Hello Bert,
The shut off valve for the bidet mounts between the toilet supply line and the threads of the fill valve. I hope this helps.

Hi JT,
Thank you for your question and your interest in Brondell. The T-valve and hose are identical for both models, the difference is in the sprayer. The CleanSpa has a plastic sprayer with a button that pushes through to turn on and off. The CleanSpa Luxury is made of stainless steel and utilizes a grip handle to activate.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 76 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Install was easy. Main valve unit and wand are great quality. Wand holster and hose are acceptable quality. As others mention, the finish of the flexible hose does not match the finish of the wand. I don't like having to turn the valve on/off at the base of the hose each time of use, or "risk water damage". Quiet inconvenient. -1 point for that. Wish I had read that on the packaging before purchasing....or would have bought a different unit. My (cheaper quality and price) kitchen sink spray hose doesn't require this...why should this?!?! Other minor issue is that the plastic clip for the wand holster prevents the (old style) toilet tank lid from completely closing. For me, not a big deal, as I will replacing the toilet soon. October 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This item was selected over the others due to the high quality construction of the nozzle itself. Works very well and easy to control water spray pressure either by the lever, or also in combination with the valve and lever. (ex: the valve half way open) It was very easy to install. October 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good buy Very easy to install and works and looks great. The finish of the hose holder does not match that of the hose but it is not that evident October 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! I bought this to clean off cloth diapers and it works great. Very easy to install. I did not have to purchase anything else June 25, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by turn on then turn off or risk water damage Works well except After every use you have to reach down and turn the valve off at the T-junction or risk water damage, so the manual states. Really inconvenient. Why not make a stronger hand-held that can withstand normal water pressure all the time? October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Spa Luxury Handheld Bidet Siver Easy to install, sanitary and refreshing. Very useful and better than previous bidet. Quality product. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bidet handheld set Hand nozzle can be controlled for pressure simply by the amount of thumb pressure used to actuate then nozzle. Perfect mounting setup. Easily installed. Works perfectly. Numerous warnings to not leave the main valve turned on as the unit is not designed around having a constant pressure on the hose, but from what I can see, though not testing it, the hose appears to be darn good. The internal hose and crimped connections can be examined during installation. Outer flex casing is excellent. If the finish holds up on the flex hose casing it should be great. Nozzle itself is perfect. I've not had this piece long enough to give it a long haul review. It appears to be of good quality and design though so I'm very hopeful. Only drawback so far is the storage holder. It's plastic. I would have expected and preferred a metal bracket with polished chrome, not plastic. I have my doubts about that part. We shall see. Mine is mounted to the wall. The mounting to the tank assembly was not working out as it held the toilet tank lid up a bit too much. Still, it looks fine and works fine. September 13, 2016
