Magnetic or otherwise wall-mountable remote?

Hi there, I recently used one of these automatic high tech bidet's at a local plumbing place. It was from a different manufacturer but in the same price range and had its remote mounted to the wall. When I read the specifications of it online, I saw that it actually comes with a magnetic board that the remote control is attached to on the wall. Do we have this option with this make and model? Thanks,
Asked by: Megan
Yes, it does have a wall mount for the remote.

Can I use an extension cord if necessary?

Asked by: Nucky
Yes you can. The instructions recommend having a GF outlet installed near the toilet to plug into, but they also give specs on what kind of extension cord to use if that is your only option. I have an extension cord on mine and have had no problems. Just be sure to keep the plug safely off the ground in case of any kind of water leakage in your bathroom.

Does it come with the recommended in-line water filter

Does the seat come with one of the recommended, six-month-use in-line water filters? Home Depot sells them for $25 but I want to know if I need to order one with the seat or whether one is included. Our water is quite hard, with a high iron content, so I assume one is needed.
Asked by: SC
No. Order separately

how high is the seat riser

is the seat assy. any higher than a regular seat? I need a little more riser height than a regular seat.
Asked by: Robert
Same height as your regular seat. It doesn't make the seat any higher.

Swash 1000 Electric Bidet Seat for Elongated Toilet in Biscuit is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 102.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! I chose the Swash 1000 because of the dual spray heads. Installation was easy - easy to operate, and does a great job. It doesn't allow you save settings for 2 people, but it's very easy to switch when needed. This is going to be a godsend for my mother, who has difficulty moving her wrists. The spray and dry features run a nice long time so you are not constantly pushing a button and you can stop it any time you want. Water is warm immediately - no cold surprises. LOVE the remote - I cannot imagine trying to run one from the side of the seat. Good sturdy product. It does look a bit bulky on the toilet, so if you are looking for sexy - this isn't it. It does have a nice soft close on the lid though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but no Toto This is a decent bidet seat for the price. I've had a Toto for over 10 years and it's the bomb. However, we wanted a bidet seat for a vacation place and didn't wan to pay the steep price for another Toto. In comparison, the Toto has a much warmer/toastier seat for cool weather use, the Toto has more choices for water temperature and when you push the button to begin wash the Toto kicks right in whereas the Swash has a lag before any function kicks in. Having said all that, the Swash is nice looking, a good value and you get decent functionality. If you've never had a Toto you'll be none the wiser that the Swash leaves something to be desired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't live without it! When we remodeled our bathroom, my husband (along with our contractor) suggested we purchase the Brondell Swash 1000 Bidet Seat. I told him he was crazy and he could put it in his bathroom--not mine! But I have been won over quickly and completely. The clean feeling and comfort that you receive from this appliance is fabulous. I am not elderly, but I would recommend this to anyone, especially those that have mobility and toiletry issues. All of the features work very well. Because it is more visible than a regular toilet seat, it does take away from my perfectly, picked-out-to-match toilet, but the experience is well-worth it.

Friends of mine installed a $4,000 Japanese bidet toilet in their home and got me hooked. I didn't want to spend that type of money, but this toilet seat is priced much better and was easy to install and works just as well as the really expensive toilet. I have a small bathroom, so it is a bonus to be able to sit on top of the toilet seat when it is closed and not have to worry about damaging it. Of course I did have a little extra expense to install an electrical outlet near the toilet, but it was well worth it.

However, after one week of use, there was a substantial leak at the connection between the main water line and the line to the seat. Fortunately, we were able to remedy it with plumbers tape and caulk. This junction is at a very inconvenient spot and should be given more thought by the design staff for future production.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST IN EVERY HOUSE! We simply can not believe we spent so many years without this bidet. It's perfect in every points and seat is even more comfortable than before. Our family and friends were reticent in trying it...but now they are all jealous and want one too! LOL Also, I have major disabilities with both my arms, and, you might not believe me, this bidet just changed my life for the better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Senior with Alzheimer's I bought the bidet seat for my late husband so I didn't have to wash him in the shower as often. He was 6ft 2 and I am 5ft 2. Cleaning him was much easier with bidet when he sat down. Hospice Occupational Therapist was amazed by it. She thinks every home patients should have one. It is so easy to install with the online video instruction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two Years Later and Still Happy! Our Swash has been used every day for the past two years and it's still going strong! Easy to install, easy to remove for cleaning, and easy to operate. Although skeptical at first that I would use or need such a product, I can honestly say that I am now a true convert. Its truly missed when we travel away from home.
