Answer:
Yes. Bit the connection to the tank is a 7/8" female thread and the connection to the faucet is a 7/8" male thread. If you have 3/8" fittings, you will need to get adapters.

Answer:
The sensor is a "skin sensor" that detects a user on the seat when it detects moisture from the skin. The location of the sensor is shown in the owner's manual and instructions for cancelling the seat sensor lock mode can be found on page 17.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 59 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good buy Overall I am pleased with the Quality, ease of instillation and functionality of the seat but the seat is a bit short for my toilet. When I ordered I thought I was ordering a different seat one with more functions. I should have been more careful when placing my order. Please understand why I am not sending a picture of the product in use. July 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Installation a bit problematic I bought this to replace an existing bidet made by Rasonic for my Toto toilet.. Although I bought the elongated version of the bidet, it did not match the shape of my elongated Toto toilet. But since it functions OK, I decided to keep it. You can see in the photos how much the seat overhangs, but the support pads are landing on the toilet OK and the bidet sits well and stable. Just a bit awkward visually. I ran into several problems installing the bidet. First, the Toto toilet only has a limited opening behind the toilet bowl and I had to lay down on the floor next to the toilet hugging the toilet bowl to reach my hand inside the back of the toilet to get to the screws for mounting. My old Rasonic can be mounted completely from the top. Also the hose connection to the tank is only accessible through this hole as well. I'll probably have to remove the tank from the toilet bowl to get to it. So I chose to use the existing T from the old bidet which was connected to the tank via a 3/8" hose.. Besides, the T that came with this bidet are 7/8" thread to the tank and faucet. My faucet is 3/8" also. Using the new T would be a lot more work plus another trip to HD. After I got the whole thing put together and turned on the water, the connection from the hose to the T was leaking profusely, Turned out that the ID of my old T was too small to allow the center protrusion of the hose connector to fit through. See photo. So, I had to sand down that protrusion to allow the gasket to seat properly. There is a protruding lip on the inner bottom edge at the front of the seat. Guess it is a splash barrier. Took a few iterations to position the seat perfectly with the lip not hitting the toilet and still placing the seat as forward as possible. Of course, each iteration requires me to lie down hugging the toilet bowl on both sides. Now thinking about it, I should have attached the bidet with the nuts loose, position the seat and then tighten the nuts. The rear spray action worked as well as my old Rasonic. There is just no feedback on the remote as to what water pressure was selected. The front nozzle was hurting me you know where until I can turn down the pressure. Guess I shouldn't be using the front spray anyways. The magnetic holder for the remote was a nice tough. The IR signal reached the bidet with no problems although I mounted it on the opposite side of the sensor. The spray nozzles are plastic in this model similar to my old Rasonic. But it has a flush feature to wash the nozzles after each use. I had to pull the nozzles out in the Rasonic out manually to clean them once a while. There is also a button on the side of the bidet to kick off the flush action which runs for 2 minutes if not manually stopped. In the photo of the hose in the HD site, it shows a sharply bent shape. It is just a regular plastic hose with no preformed shape. It sticks straight out the side of the toilet. Would be more sleek if there is a 90 degree bend in the hose. Overall I am happy with the unit. Just the shape mismatch is a bit of eyesore. But it is actually more comfortable to sit on. May 4, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product - works like a charm!! Purchased this product yesterday from the local Home Depot. Easy to install, and works like a charm!! The different settings for temperature (on the seat and for the water) are great. Can't believe we didn't use something like this for so long. Goodbye flushable wipes!! May 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We purchased this unit as a replacement for an earlier model. The installation was very easy, since this was a replacement unit for an earlier model that finally quit after 11 years. Have to keep the wife happy, right? Thanks, Bill March 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by How did I ever live without this device I was very cautious about this purchase as it was the first time I ever purchased something like this. I was not disappointed as it performs as advertised. Installation was a breeze and the functionality is great. Highly recommended for anyone that would enjoy a new experience in hygiene. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The King of Bidets! Really easy to install. The heated seat is magic. The water stream is aerated and there are multiple heat settings. It's the most extravagant, yet wonderful, gift I've every gotten myself. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Would buy same unit again. Happy camper. Quick install as it is a replacement for a dead unit. (already had water supply T installed.) Turned on water to check for leaks, applied power; had to consult manual to locate power button on side of unit. Works fine, no problems. June 5, 2012
