Are the stone pieces loose, or is the column intact as shown?

Are the stone pieces loose, or is the column intact as shown?
Asked by: Desv01
The blocks are individual pieces that are 6" tall by 16" wide with decorative faces on them. The 42" column includes 28 of these units that will need to be stacked and glued together to build the column. Thank you!

Cutting stones to hold split rail fence rails.

How would you cut the stones to make multiple slots roughly 4 inches high, 2 inches wide and at least 4 inches deep to accommodate fence split rails.
Asked by: bill
The easiest way here would be to trim 2" from the end of one of the block units where you are wanting the fencing installed. If it is a two row fence you will trim 2" off of 2 of the block units on that side. This will leave a gap that is 6" high, 2" wide, and 8" deep for each railing. You can do this using a concrete cutting saw and if these slots are too big you can use the saw and notch a 4"x2"x4" piece off the end of one of the blocks which is doable but a more complicated cut. Good luck and thank you!

Dimensions don't seem to add up

If rocks are 16X6X6 as specified column should be 22X22 not 24X24 and center hole should be10X10 not 8X8 as specified. Also, picture for the 36 inch model shows the same number of courses (7) as the 42 inch model while it should have only 6. To get two 48 inch height units can I order an extra eight stones or do I have to buy three 36 in units and use eight stones from one unit in each of the other two units?
Asked by: bill
The block units are actually 16" wide x 6" tall x 8" deep so it will make a 24"x24" column. The item description is inaccurate so thank you for pointing this out and we will get it changed. If you would like to extend the height of the columns please call the company directly to assist in a solution, 888-379-2210. Thank you!

Brown 42 in. Outdoor Decorative Column is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! Great product!! I installed two 42 inch columns at the end of my driveway. I did all the work alone, heavy lifting so you should get someone to help. Dig a hole for the foundation and then just arrange as if you were playing Jenga. Saved me thousands versus getting a contractor. Looks terricic.
