Can this flooring be used under a concrete subfloor?

I was told that solid hardwood cannot go under a concrete subfloor, and would need a layer of plywood underneath. Therefore, it's almost always recommended to go for an engineered hardwood. Is my understanding correct that I cannot use this product with a concrete subfloor?

Our recommended adhesives are the Equalizer or the Summit all in one adhesive.
