Rated 5 out of 5Â by Thomas Great Looking Floor at an Incredible Value!
After searching many engineered floor brands and styles I kept coming back to this Bruce flooring. I was sceptical since the price was such a value that the quality would suffer but I was wrong. Great quality with almost no waste and it fit perfectly for a very easy and smooth installation. It was sooo much better than a previous Lumber Liquidator Solid Bellawood floor that was awful to install. Once down the floor looks great. With the hickory grain and handscraped finish it doesn't show nails, nicks or scratches when covered with a brown Sharpie. Very happy
with our choice!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ConnieF Beautiful Floor
We installed this flooring about 6 months ago and it looks just the same as day one - Beautiful. The floor is in the kitchen and living/dining room and gets a lot of use. I keep it clean using a liquid hardwood cleaner in my Libman Freedom Mop. After reading the insert and calling the manufacturer we installed the floor as a floating floor and gluing the joints. The floor is hickory and according to the manufacturer it should not be stapled. Be sure to get your subfloor level as per the insert. It is worth the time and effort. We missed one spot and I can feel the floor shifting slightly there when walked on. Other than that no issues. We also used an underlayment with a foil covering over a foam - rated best level at another store. I have since seen a similar product at Home Depot. Be sure to mix your boxes well as the colors do vary.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Aaron Great floor! Easy installation, looks pretty much like real wood.
I'd give this 5 stars all the way around. Fantastic floor that was easy to install, feels very study, and looks great. If I were to drop down on any star, it would be a ½ star for the appearance. To me, it doesnât look âexactlyâ like real hardwood, but itâs pretty close. I left appearance at 5 stars really because of the cost of the floor being so low. At nearly half the cost of a solid prefinished hardwood floor, itâs a great deal!
I just installed around 160 sq.ft. in a spare bedroom and it went in real easy - all done with quarter round in one day. I've done a lot of flooring, and consider myself to be pretty picky and detail oriented, and this ranks among the best and easiest I've installed. I was a bit concerned at the start given this was my first time working with engineered hardwood, but I think all my initial concerns were eliminated here. While the instructions do tend to steer you toward a float or glue-down application given the Hickory nature of the wood, a quick call to Bruce reassured me that a 1â staple down would work just fine. In fact, I shot about 1,000 staples into the flooring during the installation and I donât think I broke a tongue off once. Very glad I decided to staple it down.
For reference, I purchased the Bostitch LHF2025K for this, which is a 1â only staple gun, suited specifically toward hard wood flooring installation. Given this floor is at a 3/8 thickness, it is the perfect choice. I had only 1 staple jam in the gun, and no staple jams at all in the floor. Each one went in real smooth.
Upon completion, the floor appears well secured to the subfloor and does not creak or make noise at all. It will be interesting to see how this holds up over time.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Masterremodel Beautiful floor, didn't know the install would require a special nail/staple gun
Really like the floor. Didn't anticipate the staple/nail gun we had to rent to install it.
