Answer:
Our local home depot restocks pretty regularly, we bought a total of 2,000 sq ft several months apart and on the plus side, the finish and color was consistent.

Answer:
Yes, the instructions advise to glue them. With this particular one, I highly recommend glueing them to ensure the tightest fit and it will help keep dust particles in any areas that are not air tight.

Answer:
Yes, if installing this as a floating floor the joints (or seams) would need to be glued together. The recommended glue is either Armstrong 99 or Bruce EverSeal. For your convenience, I've provided the installation link for this hardwood.

Answer:
Not thick enough to be sanded and refinished, it is a thin layer but a little bit thicker than other brands. It's a nice quality, we receive compliments on it all the time.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Beautiful but..... We installed this in our entire house, excluding bathrooms, 2,000 sq ft by ourselves and it was pretty easy. Most complicated part was leveling the floors. After having them for 1.5yrs now, we've found that they've been a little hard to maintain. We've tried a variety of methods to clean and polish but they still seem a little dull. They scratch easily. We have light scratches on our floors just from a cat. They do seem a little noisy so I would recommend either floating them on the thickest underlayment possible, meaning most expensive, or glueing them. We did run across a lot of bent pieces and had some difficulty pounding them tightly into place. We used the float method with glue as recommended on the instructions but still seem to have some areas where the boards did not fit tight enoughso there's a tiny gap, not a big deal but you can see the light area from the non-stained engineered wood underneath. Nothing some stain can't fix. Overall, we're replacing them now with solid bamboo found at HD for only $3 per square foot and is 72" in length and 1/2" thick. Higher Janka rating so we're hoping they'll hold up better and be easier to clean. It's a beautiful floor but not for us. October 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bruce flooring No MDF or plastic. Real veneer on quality plywood. This is the best appearing engineered flooring on the market. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this floor We installed this floor last July in our home and have gotten so many compliments on it but however it very hard to keep clean we are constantly sweeping it but still I would install it again! February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bruce flooring Excellent. Has the look you just can't get with a laminated plastic finish. No particle board to swell and warp the first time you drop water on it, solid plywood backing. Not cheap but worth it. February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Floor I hired someone to put in this floor for me but it seemed like a lot of work. It took the guy about 12 hours to install 400 sq feet. I really like how the floor looked and feels to walk on! November 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this flooring! This is the third time I have purchased this product!! I absolutely love it. The first time I purchased it was for my Granddaughter's house and then I liked it so well I went back and purchased for my den and now I have installed it in my business! Looks beautiful and is reasonably priced. November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful and easy! I have never laid hardwoods. This was very easy to install!!! And WOW!!!! Beautiful!! November 30, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my floors I purchased this floor on an impulse buy when the store had an excess of this flooring and it was discounted. I hated my ugly carpet and decided to go hardwood but never found a color i really liked. This flooring is beautiful and changed the whole look of my house. We have done the living room and 2 bedrooms and still have 2 more bedrooms to go. My master bedroom looks amazing! the only negative is it gets dusty, but easy to sweep. We were worried that the floor would be cold in the winter, but it is very comfortable to walk on barefoot, not cold at all. May 31, 2015
