The rustic charm of aged, handcrafted hardwoods is recreated in our distressed collection. Proprietary staining and distressing techniques give this floor a charming, weathered and aged look. Part of the beauty of hardwood is the natural variations in color and tone that occur from piece to piece; no two real hardwood boards or trims are exactly alike. Bruce hardwood flooring is manufactured from premium, select hardwoods and finished using world-class manufacturing techniques to enhance beauty and durability. The engineered structure offers a beautiful yet durable floor that can be installed on any grade level. Bruce flooring is produced under rigorous environmental standards and is CARB II and Lacey Act compliant. With a minimum of 60 quality checks, you can be sure that Bruce is the hardwood choice for beauty and durability for generations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by What a difference a new hardwood floor makes! Twenty years ago we installed an engineered oak floor during a remodel. We saw exactly what we liked and were willing to pay more for the knots and twists and turns in the wood grain. Much to our surprise, we were looking at the lowest cost, cabin grade (seconds or thirds) flooring. After my father (a retired carpenter) and I installed it ourselves, we admired our handy work. The complements we received for the gorgeous detailing in the floor made us quite proud we choose the highly figured wood. Now living in a new home, we went looking for something similar to replace the carpet in our main entertaining areas. We found exactly what we wanted a Home Depot, a floor especially designed for HD by Bruce. Highly figured, distressed, micro-beveled, and a beautiful ‘gunstock’ color. 600 square feet of this new flooring is now going down. It really complements our golden oak antiques and the leather couches. We decided to glue it down rather than ‘floating’ it, because we like the sound of real hardwood floors without the echo and the give underfoot of the non-glued technique. We chose the tongue and groove boards, rather than the snap type, so I can replace one damaged plank without having to remove more than one board. I am sure our friends will again be ooh-ing and ahh-ing our choice of real, hardwood over the similarly priced laminate. Thank you Home Depot and Bruce for offering this exceptional product at an exceptional price. July 31, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks great and easy to install Flooring looks great. Out of the initial 5 boxes I found one piece that I couldn't use. (part of the first layer of ply was missing on the bottom). Great variation in grain and stain and the distressed aspect is very attractive. Stapled the floor down gives is a nice solid feel and sound. July 1, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Blisters and cracks!! I had these hardwoods installed from Home Depot. I have always used Bruce hardwood cleaner on them. When I called Bruce to warranty them they claimed I must be cleaning them wrong? I explained I have different hardwoods in other rooms in my house and use the same cleaner? No problems or issues with those hardwoods? I would stay away from these and choose another manufacturer. December 15, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good looking. Tung and groove. Does not lock love the look of the distressed oak. Surprised to find that it is just regular tung and groove. I still floated it, just had to glue all joints. Nice price and free shipping. August 24, 2011
