Would these floors work in a kitchen?

I have these floors installed in my living room and I love them. They are about 3 to 4 years old and they still look amazing. I am considering removing the tile in my kitchen and installing the Bruce Fruitwood floors again if they are durable for a kitchen. Please let me know so I can consider my opinions. And by the way, ALL laminate floors creak to some degree.
Asked by: Lou
I have had this flooring in my kitchen for about 8 years. Not a problem!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wort single purchase of my lifetime! This flooring never looks clean. I use the Bruce Laminate cleaner on it as recommended to no avail. If you have kids or pets, steer clear of this flooring. It was beautiful when it was first laid and in the store but shows every footprint, smudge and stray dog hair like you wouldn't believe. I feel like crying every time I look at it when I realize how much money I spend on something I absolutely hate. I am constantly trying to make it look clean to the point where it is an unhealthy obsession. We replaced a laminate with this and I wish i had my old floor back, it may have been a bit worn but at least it looked clean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Flooring choice! The display picture is far from the actually product..Must see in-store. I search through the website hundreds of times and look right over Fruitwood Spice, but when i went into the store it was love at first sight!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely beautiful floor When looking at the wood laminate samples, we couldn't decide exactly what we wanted and had numerous samples on the floor for comparisons. We noticed a section of the floor in this showroom had exactly the color/finish/look we wanted and found out it was the Bruce Fruitwood Select. This wasn't in the samples we were looking at because it's part of the commercial line, but do not be put off by that; it’s actually a more durable floor (thicker construct). We've only had the floor for about 6 weeks so I cannot comment on long-term durability, but with only minimal cleaning so far it retains its shine, handles a dog running back and forth on it, and looks great. Based on experience to date I would highly recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good for people who are rarely home It was beautiful until we walked on it. Shows every footprint, speck of dirt and smudge. I have to clean them twice a day and they still look awful!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Three Years Later... Three years later, after we installed this flooring, the floors creak all the time. It's like walking on the ice and you hear it cracking. To be fair, the floors creaked in some spots right after installation. Over the years the creak has spread throughout. Let it be know we started with a very unlevel floor. We purchased the products recommended to level the floor (product similar to cement). After leveling the floors, they were not perfect but they were not out of whack either. After $1900.00 in flooring, I regret this decision. I imagine in 10 more years we will change out the floor. Until then, we sit and stare at the beauty of the color but cringe when we walk on it. So sad...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Easy It took us a total of 7 hours to do a 13x15 room with this flooring. Very easy to install, only one plank had a chip in it out of 22 boxes ordered. Not a problem, we cut that end off! Looks great in our family room, which we just painted Ralph Lauren Suede in Snowdrift.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Biggest MISTAKE EVER! This floor looks beautiful in the store but it is a complete nightmare! If you have a busy household with kids STAY AWAY! The floor NEVER looks clean. You can see footprints and smudges all the time! I can wash it on my hands and knees and it shows every single swipe mark from wiping. I have used the recommended Bruce Kit and still looks dirty. You can just touch the floor with freshly washed hands and the oil from your skin will leave a mark. So imagine a food spill? This is just the start of the problems. The floor has warped, cracked and chipped in many areas and it has not even been down for a year! Add insult to injury and look at the price! I NEVER expected these problems with a floor this expensive! I get sick on a daily basis knowing that I have to live with this floor for a while OR throw good money after bad and replace it... I tried to upload photos but the page timed out!
