Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks great with my light grey kitchen cabinets. Flooring was not difficult to install and looks really nice. I had it put in my kitchen, dining room, family room, laundry room and hall. We painted the walls taupe and it blends really well with the stainless appliances and light grey oak cabinets. Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product Just finished installing in my whole house. planks/finished product is strong, durable. Doorways are maddening, but not impossible. Sections can be "flat tapped" /back fed if the grove is trimmed up with a razor knife. Make sure you get a tool kit for installation and tap the planks in snug as you go. Besides cutting intricate pieces for doorways, the install was simple. Wear knee pads. Over all I recommend it. The finished product looks great. January 19, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Looks Great, But Installation Was Maddening! I chose the Graphite Forest planking because it had a unique look that was well-suited for our kitchen. But even though I acclimated the flooring for a couple of weeks, and was assisted by an experienced installer (of the more costly competition), installation on our smooth, even floor was a nightmare! Repeatedly, we would get to the end of interlocking an 18-foot run, only to find that the first planks had separated- this forcing us to go back and start all over again. And too often, planks that were directly adjacent to each other would part, and relocking them was never easy. You might save some money by choosing to purchase the Bruce Lock flooring, but it's simply not worth the time and frustration of installation. Do yourself a favor, and spend a few dollars more for the "good stuff". Installing a laminate floor like this should be easy and satisfying, but the Bruce product was everything but. Rated 5 out of 5 by Installed one room so far So far so good. The locking edges make for a challenge every so often, but once we got the general idea down it moved quickly. We had two people installing and 1 person cutting. We used the best underlayment we found at Home Depot. January 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great looking floor, lots of shipping damage The floor looks great, installed easily and cut cleanly. Installation guide on the back of the box is not very detailed. February 21, 2012
