It can be done, but it's not an approved method that the manufacturer will endorse doing and it will more than likely void any warranty on the product. This application would not be suggested because we have not formally tested to approve of this installation. We have only approved this flooring to be installed on subfloors.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Okay The floor is really nice . I was upset because alot of the floor pieces were chipped June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleased I Love Love Love my new floors. This color so is unusual and beautiful, very modern looking. Everyone who sees it just loves it. This is the first time we have attempted to install anything like this and it couldn't have been any easier, literally a snap to install. I am so glad we decided to do it ourselves, it saved us a bunch of money. I highly recommend this product to everyone. Couldn't be happier. December 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Floor looks awesome and unique. We love the look of this floor! The colors and grain are not the normal wood floor look which makes it look high end. And it's easy to maintain/clean. The install process was easy compared to other flooring options we have put down. I would highly recommend this floor! April 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AM review Product has excellent appearance. Looks great on the floor. Easy to install. Easy to maintain and clean. Love the new product. December 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely look, less sound We wanted an easily installed product that would take the sunshine down in our son's bedroom. Not only does this finish cut down on the glare, but the laminate has stood up to his barrage. Our five year old moves from the time the sun comes up to well after it goes down. He has friends over, drinks spilled, moves furniture, and general noise making. We hear less sound now, even though the original flooring was carpet. The sound level really surprised me. Being right over the kitchen, you could hear everything he did. With a good quality underlayment, we can easily carry on a conversation without hearing every step. The easy cleanup is nice. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad flooring The worst flooring I have ever bought.I was told if my dogs had an accident on this floor that it would not harm it but obviously they didn't know what they were talking about. This flooring started coming up from the planks that it was installed on even where there had been no water on it. It is not pretty and you can see every step and dirt when people come in the room. My dogs do have accidents on this floor and my floor is completely ruined and I need new flooring already. My floor isn't three years old yet and was ruined the first year I had it!! May 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product, Easy installation, Durable I bought this product for the balance of LOOK, COST, EASE OF INSTALLATION. I replaced the kitchen, foyer, and bathroom floors in my condo. Very easy to install. Very Happy.... February 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Couldn't be happier with this product. I usually would never take time out to write a review, but I just want to pass the word on this product to anyone who is looking for an awesome, affordable, unique, and EXTREMELY EASY to install wood floor. I am building a new restaurant an so far the most satisfying of all the build out materials was this product. It literally took me 6 hours to finish my entire floor at the downstairs bar which is approximately 950 square feet. @ 3.13/sf it is definitely the best buy in flooring i've seen, and I searched everywhere for floors!. The durability pf the product in a commercial place like mine is still questionable, but im going to seal it for some extra protection, and I think it should be fine. In conclusion if you like the look of this product, buy it. Its even nicer in person, and the quality is good. February 2, 2012
