Answer:
No. This is solid hardwood and will be effected by the moisture in the concrete. Obviously tile would be the best choice. If you have to have wood, you should look at an engineered product specific to this application.

We do not recommend solid hardwood flooring be installed directly to concrete without the addition of other subflooring materials to which the flooring can be fastened. Some adhesive manufacturers have had substantial success with direct glue down applications using a variety of different adhesives and moisture retardant systems. Follow the adhesive manufacturer's recommendations and check their warranty coverage. We will not be responsible for claims associated with direct glue applications of our solid hardwood flooring products since we neither make nor recommend an adhesive for that purpose.
Wood/Concrete Subfloor Systems
Fastened to concrete:
Concrete must be of high compressive strength, 3000 PSI or better. Install a suitable moisture retardant followed by a plywood subfloor with a minimum thickness of 3/4" (19 mm). Allow 1/2" (13 mm) expansion space around all vertical objects and 1/8" (3 mm) between all flooring panels. In general, smaller panels [less than 4' x 8' (1.2 m x 2.4 m)] oriented at 45 degrees (preferred) offer better results. The panel must be properly attached to the subfloor using a minimum of one fastener per square foot and more if necessary. Use pneumatic or powder actuated fasteners. Do not hand nail the subfloor with concrete nails. Install a moisture retardant barrier with joints lapped 6" (15 cm) and begin installation of flooring using 1 1/2" (4 cm) fasteners.
Floating subfloor :
Install a suitable moisture retardant followed by a plywood subfloor with a minimum thickness of 3/8" (9.5 mm) [1/2" (13 mm) preferred]. Allow 1/2" (13 mm) expansion space around all vertical objects and 1/8" (3 mm) between all flooring panels. Install a second layer of plywood, the same thickness, at a right angle to the previous panels, offsetting the joints 2' (61 cm). Staple together with staples that will not penetrate the first layer of subfloor. The staples should have a crown width of 3/8" (9.5 mm) or more. Install a moisture retardant barrier with joints lapped 6" (15 cm) and begin installation of flooring using 1-1/2" (4 cm) fasteners.
Screeds/sleepers:
Solid wood flooring exceeding 4" (10 cm) and above in width cannot be installed directly to screeds. Screeds should be installed 9" (23 cm) apart in rivers of adhesive, at right angles to the flooring to be installed. Do not begin installation until all adhesives are properly cured. Install moisture retardant over the screeds prior to installation of the flooring.

Answer:
To fix small scratches you would want to use touch-up kit S-1153. To repair any dents you would want to use the acrylic filler 871223. I hope this information helps.

I see this product shows out-of-stock online. Does that mean is it available in stores or is it discontinued? What can I find it?

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Quality is questionable Much of the wood had bare spots and nicks which could not be used. There is significant variation in the color and the tolerances are just ok. Had to throw out more than 10%. July 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good finish. Good price. overall very happy with this product. A good product. Very few defects overall. Some boards were warped a little but was able to straighten out as I nailed. Some I needed a helper to tweek into position as I nailed. Not a big problem for me. A very few would not align perfectly and the butts would stick up slightly. If its a problem just select a different board or use any rejects as the starting piece. Be sure to work out of a couple of boxes at a time to make sure that you end up with a good mix of sizes. The floor looks great. Good price. I have done three floors with different products over the years. Make no mistake that it is hard work and I wouldn't want to do it for a living. December 27, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great price, but order extra. Lots of unusable boards. There were lots of low quality boards that should not have passed inspection. Many had tongues that were too short. Some had damaged corners/edges. Some were so warped they couldn't be installed - definitely a problem with the longer boards. One box was a noticeably different color, even though the labeling said it was the same. I ordered 12 boxes and ended up with almost one box of short pieces and rejects. On a positive note, the pieces that were usable were very nice and the floor looks great! This was the lowest price I could find anywhere. Just order extra and expect to do a little quality control yourself. It will still cost less that buying somewhere else! February 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love this floor. would love to purchase more for other rooms. How can I get more? my husband was really pleased with the installation. the floor looks beautiful. my sisters saw it and wished that they picked this floor. It is so easy to keep clean. It has really helped reduce allergens in our home. My daughter and myself don't have the asthma problems like we did with the carpeting. We just love it and would like to purchase more for the bedrooms , but it seems online is out of stock. Is that just temporarily or no? Can you let us know? thank you. September 25, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Oak Saddle 3/4 x 3-1/4 Solid Hardwood Floor C1117 I purchased 25 cases of this flooring to do my master bedroom and closet. I helped my brother do a small bedroom in the past, but this was my first time doing it all myself. The finished floor looks great. I used my finish nailer on the starter rows and the last rows. I rented the bostitch flooring nailer from HomeDepot and it works great. I highly recommend this tool. There were a few blemished pieces in each box, but less than the 10% I was told to expect. Some boxes were mostly long pieces and some were all short pieces so I recommend opening several boxes to use random lengths. The only thing I would do next time is inspect each board closer and cull out the blemishes. I plan to do several more rooms in my home with this product, so I definitely recommend it. Happy Flooring! April 27, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value! Looks Great! I purchased 2,200 square foot for a house I'm renovating and had my floor guy install it. The quality of this is satisfactory. By that, I mean there are some noticeable defects- more knots/splits and mineral staining than a more expensive wood. But, even with the "character" marks, it looks great. The rounded edges make for less damage on installation but will require more sanding in the future when refinishing. I was assured that this material has the same finish as their longer warrantied floors. June 25, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice Hardwood Floor My husband picked this hardwood floor and he really likes the color of it. And the quality is good too. Everybody, except him thought this color was too dark and it won't look good after it was installed. However, it turned out pretty nice after it was installed. Everybody like it and the color is great! February 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product Installing the product was fairly simple. There was a good amount of waste though over 10% I would say. But then again we were picky after spending the money on the product. We bought an extra box and finished the project this weekend. Looks excellent. I would recommend purchasing 10-15% extra to account for waste. Overall good product. Commenting on the longevity isnt really applicable yet just because it is brand new. June 12, 2012
