Answer:
Since I cannot see your floor, I would not be able to tell you if this floor will be an exact match. Based off of what you have said though about your floor being 3/8" engineered and in a "saddle" color, this product meets the same specifications. Only you will be able to tell if the color is a close match.
I hope this information is helpful.

I have worked with 3/4 tongue and groove hardwood many times and installed with nail gun, but not sure what is preferred with this thinner engineered hardwood. Can someone recommend a "best practice?" Is it glue, is it nails like standard hardwoods, something else? thanks

The original had a real wood top layer that you can feel the grain. The new stuff I just got from Home Depot has a smooth top like pergo and sounds like plastic when you tap on it. Did Bruce change their product? Or, is this stuff boxed wrong?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Simple installation but do your homework. The instructions in the box are written well. You can make the necessary cuts with a circular saw, but a miter saw and a table saw make it a lot easier. January 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by quality product Quality product, I chose to free float, it is time consuming with all the pieces and all the glue, if you are working with a concrete slab I have found it is the best option. Customer loved the finished product! February 3, 2015
