Yes. The floor is not smooth so it isn't slippery.

No. My son has slipped a few times while wearing socks. Have only had the floor down for several days so not sure yet if it is slippery when wet.

When we called Home Depot, they did not have samples available and suggested we order a carton to see what the laminate floor looked like and then return it to our local store with the receipt. Instead we ordered a 7.5" x 12" sample from the Armstrong/Bruce website for $5 plus shipping costs.

I like the look of the flooring, it has texture to it so it isn't slippery. I had it installed by a contractor, and now when we walk on it the floor crackles. I have other laminate floors in my home and none of them do that. The guy doing the installation said some of the locking tabs were messed up when the planks came out of the package, but I didn't see that.

We purchased this flooring for our kitchen and are very pleased with it. We had it professionally installed, but they had no problems at all with the installation. It looks like we tiled our kitchen!

Just had the laminate floor installed in our foyer and kitchen and it is beautiful. Has a nice pattern and the brown/tan color doesn't show dirt. Had a contractor install it for us and he said it was difficult to install. Shipping to the store was much faster than expected and the price for this laminate floor was lower at Home Depot than other local flooring stores. Only problem was that Home Depot does not sell the Bruce/Armstrong recommended underlayment and trim molding and we had to purchase them from another flooring store so the floor would be covered under the limited 30-year warranty. Will have to see how the well the floor holds up over time.
