Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handyjuan Great product and easy to install.
I purchased the same flooring over 3 years ago, it was easy to find the same color & size to complete another room. Floor looks great even with a lot of traffic, easy to clean. Very easy to install, the different sizes keeps it from looking to uniform.

I am a novice and used research to know how much extra I needed to purchase. I needed 800 sq feet to complete my 3 bedrooms. I ordered one extra box per room and I have one extra box to return to the store. Some of the planks, especially the longer planks, are warped to the point that you cannot install them. Those planks are going back to the store. Some of the planks are also nicked or dinged so make sure you inspect before you install. I installed the flooring alone and it helps to use a nicked piece of flooring as a lever against the opposite wall to help hold those boards that are a bit "off" tight against the plank that is already nailed in. This flooring is not an easy breezy installation but if you have time, patience and problem solving skills, you can do it!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jason I really wanted to like it!
I really wanted to like it. The color is beautiful! I need to lay about 1000 sq ft. of hardwood and bought this after searching for this color tone. I opened two boxes and did not have a single board over 2 feet in length..in fact, most were about 1-1.5 ft. in length. This is unacceptable when doing large rooms. There were a few boards which had worm holes and really rough knots..but that is somewhat expected in all hardwoods. The milling was less than perfect as many did not fit well. This is by far not the quality that I would have expected from Bruce...but I get the feeling this is their wood that didn't make the quality standard of their higher priced floors.
I had to return them and will continue my hunt for this shade of color. I'm disappointed to say the least.

Get at least 20% extra. I bought this about 4 years ago (it's been a long process with my house) and I'm very glad it's still produced as I need about 3-4 more boxes. I remember throwing away a lot of this stuff. I had to use a wedge and a 2x4 screwed into the floor whenever I came across a board that was warped. I had to hammer and nail the heck out of this stuff. This is the only way to be able to use 80-90% of the boards in the box. It turned out awesome, but be prepared to really work to make this turn out perfect. It's not impossible, but again you save money on the product and of course the labor is where you'll get killed.
After 4 years, the only problem I have had is that the washing machine exploded and ruined about 30-40 sq/feet of it. It actually happened twice. The first time the wood went back to flat, the 2nd, no such luck! I think that's pretty good. The only real problem I have with it is that the dogs (boxers) really took a toll on it skidding around corners trying to lick the mailman.
All that said, buy it (and 20%+ extra) and get ready to wrestle with it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by matty Looks great, scratches easily
I put this in my kitchen which has an overall contemporary theme to it. The flooring looks unbelievable, but it scratches pretty easily. Immediatly I have a few scratches which I am sure no one else would notice. i bought it on sale for $2.99 sf so it was worth it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by thebrakes hard finish, beautiful color, love it
put down about 600sqft over OSB with a pneumatic nailer at my 100 year old weekend home with unrepairable cypress floors...i did not have much waste at all, maybe 5% tops...but you gotta check every board as you go. this stuff has a super-hard finish on it...my dog, who destroyed my bamboo floors at my other house with millions of scratches, cant even get purchase on this stuff and hasnt left mark one. it is really gorgeous too, i get compliments all the time. dont install in low light! - i have one light board i didnt notice; i call her Blondie :D. i would do it a million times over....it wasnt $3.25+ last year when i bought it, but it's still worth it.

Was easy to install. Variations between color of wood was more than desired. Some so dark that I wouldn't use the boards outside of an unlit closet... Many of the packages had more small pieces then large and made it difficult to be easily fit into the floor pattern. Number of the boards had marks that made them un-useable. Some of the wood was questionable even structurally on the unfinished sides i.e.extensive bark, pin holes & rot etc.

Cost is not worth aggravation. Must look each board over thoroughly for missing tongues, warping, cracks, one end wider than other, flaws in the finish, ends cut on angle and splintering on the edges. Purchased 44 boxes and have exchanged 19 so far with 13 more boxes to go through. All the extra time spent looking over each board and trips to the store to exchange (we live about an hour from the nearest Homedepot) do not make this flooring worth the extra savings.
