52 in. Fiberglass Ironclad Handled Brush Remover Tool is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as hoped This was advertised to pull out plants with trunks from a half inch up to 2" in size. Unfortunately what I'm finding is the claws can't properly grab the trunks and hold them. What happens is the claws slide up the trunk stripping the bark and not pulling it out of the ground. I'm very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor carry through on a great idea The quality is the issue here, as well as leaving important tweaks to the user as part of the assembly procedure. Bolts are not the proper hardness or type and lock nuts barely fit over the end of the bolts. The spring that operates the most important function (clamping the jaws) doesn't appeared or the proper size or strength. The botls holding the spring were either bending or cocking in their installation holes so that they kept the spring from being effective when it was expanded. The hardware has moving parts rubbing directly against each other, so the wear factor will kick in if this thing is used as much as I had planned. The cable that pulls the jaws open has to have its installation completed. The end on mine wasn't crimped properly - waited a week for a replacement cable which means I had to do the entire reassembly. That left questions as to what to tighten how. I drew on previous experience and tweaked it to make it serviceable. The foot for leverage digs into the ground too easily to provide any leverage in a rel life scenario as it's a 1 inch round tube - strong enough but need a wider surface area to be effective. A small piece of plywood helped. Etc., etc. Great, great idea - I really want one of these that works. Very poor implementation through part selection and attention to some of the finer design details. Sad.
