2 in. x 18-Gauge Strip Finish Nailer-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great nail gun! This is a great nail gun. I wanted something inexpensive to make a few projects easier and looked at quite a few that were under $50. I decided on this one because it: looked EXACTLY like a few that were more expensive (hinting to the difference being branding); 2" brad capacity; protective case; adjustable depth control; and price. The nail gun works like a dream. Only one jam and it was easy to clear. It can easily shoot a 2" brad through hardwood with a good brad. Must use pressure at top of range for that. But, 55-60 PSI works great for 1.5" brads in baseboards and moldings. The only drawback is that the 'depth control' is set by you externally regulating pressure...there is no gun control for depth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ok for the homeowner Received tool on time. Coming with a case is a plus. Did include some start up nails. User manual was not with the tool and was not available on line. Had to get it emailed from the importer. User manual barely useful. Have used the gun to install new finish work in a bath. So far with limited use, performed fine. Running on a 3 gallon compressor @80 psi with no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy. Great performance. I wanted an inexpensive brad nailer with two inch capability for a small renovation project (approximately 300 brads) for tongue and groove pine board paneling and window trim. I've used it a couple additional times, too. I am very satisfied, No jams, no misfires. At about $33 including case, tax and shipping it was a real bargain. I used Porter Cable brads because of problems reported with other nailers (not at HD). It does leave a hardly noticable dimple in softer wood. Long term durability is unknown, but at this price I consider it paid for already.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GOOD, LOW COST FINISH NAILER I needed a good, low cost finish nailer for a small project I am doing. Mostly attaching baseboard trim. Since I am not a builder by trade nor do I plan to do a lot of projects that require a finish nailer, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a tool that I won't be using much. To rent one for a week didn't make much sense when this unit is available at such a low price. This tool works great. I did have to order a second one, as the first one I received had an air leak that didn't allow the pressure to actuate the gun. As always, Home Depot was great in arranging the return of the defective unit and shipped out a replacement right away. The Home Depot customer service is excellent, this tool is more than satisfactory. I would recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly a surprise This was a pleasant surprise. Very reasonable price and more important, worked great. I had some small jobs around the house, finish work, and this did a great job. I don't know if it would stand up to daily and use, but for the occasional project, it is a winner. Easy to load the nails, the oil wasn't clearly marked but easy to find. I used 80PSI and that made the nails flush with what I was nailing. Perfect. I used a small 3 gallon compressor for, like I say, small projects, worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool nailgun is very easy to use & easy to load. I have another brand gun also i paid more money for - it only goes to 1" nails - this one takes all sizes and out performs the other more expencive gun! I was very amazed. Now i only need the one gun for project as it can shoot all the sizes i use in any project. You can not beat the price! Great deal!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very good product for a low end nailer I'm a homeowner that needed a nailer for 3 projects and it worked great. No issues at all. For someone that needs a nailer to get the project done professionally and quickly this is the one for you. One project paid for itself. Renting this tool would have cost me double for my 3 projects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ready to go out of the box! Used very little thus far, but very pleased with ease of use and accuracy straight out of the box. No misfires. Nails fired with accurate depth control. Nailed 2x6 with 2 inch finish nails flawlessly. Switched to 1 inch and nailed trim. Very smooth operation.
