Product Overview

Pull out stumps, move logs, pull cars onto trailers, or trailer your boat with the Sportsman Series Portable Electric Winch. This Electric Winch mounts to your vehicle’s tow hook to pull up to 6,000 pounds of rolling weight, or 2000 pounds of straight pulling, up to 3 tons of pulling power. This handy device is great to have around for jobs that require serious pulling power, and you won’t even break a sweat. The battery in your truck powers the Electric Winch, so you don’t have to carry an extra power supply. The 20 foot steel cable gives you an ample amount of towing line. With a full load, this winch has a line speed of 6 feet per minute.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For quality and value, this was a great tool and a very useful purchase. At less than $100.00 it was well worth it. From the first time I used the winch, I was impressed with it's power and versitility. The trailer ball hitch was very handy and usefull. My only complaint is that I couldn't find in the instruction booklet any mention of the hand clutch which you had to loosen to unwind the winch by hand , thus saving your battery for when it's really needed. Once we deduced how to use that, it was a great and useful tool which almost payed for itself in our first session of use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bic disposable ewinch After having the remote trigger switch being accidentally destroyed I thought I would contact the manufacture directly and see if I could get it replaced. I was told I would need to purchase a whole new winch and that they did NOT supply "spare" parts for that model, which tells me all I need to know about Buffalo junk. I've never had a problem with other manufactures of winches as far as getting a winch repaired or having anything replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as described great for my dad's ATV We wanted a corded remote so my dad wouldn't lose the remote when he was hunting. This is a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good product I purchased your winch only to lift my handicapped scooter into my SUV. It works very well, but is too powerful and heavy for the meager task assigned. However, it was the smallest 12v. winch I could find, and serves it's purpose well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good for the price It did the job I bought it for but I don't think it's as strong as I expected. The better units are more expensive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works, just be sure the specs will satisfy your needs... It is very affordable and does function. The plastic case does not appear to be designed to deal with the mass inside it. I almost broke the case and separated the seem in the glued plastic the first time I picked it up to get it out of the box before I saw the handle built into the case. The power cables will not reach the front of an F250 from the rear hitch. I had to use my jumper cable to extend them. It operates at the speed in the specs but it is hard to get a feel for how slow it is until you see it in action. The first time I operated it I thought it was broken because the cable was being taken in so slowly I could not tell it was actually moving. After double checking that the clutch was tightened I did discern from close up that it was actually moving so I was patient and waited for it to take up the slack and move the object. It was capable of moving a mid size ATV with a broken transmission gear shifter onto a trailer with a ramp while it was in gear. It will not be fast enough for what I originally purchased it for(loading small logs on a sawmill instead of using a hand crank), but I will keep it for emergencies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from winch The leads to the battery are far too short to reach the battery if you have winch attached to trailer hitch. They need to be much longer.
